🏨 Marriott Hotels unveils a new 12-story hotel featuring 376 contemporary rooms and suites, a rooftop pool, and a terrace with breathtaking city and ocean views. Rahul Vir, General Manager of Marriott Long Beach Downtown, highlights the hotel's local-inspired design and functional spaces, reinforcing the brand's commitment to enhancing guest experiences by anticipating needs, continuing to exceed expectations with exceptional, authentic services and premium experiences.

🏛 Ennismore to open its first Hyde establishment in London in September 2024, expanding the brand to the UK market. Hyde London City, set in the Grade II listed 15 Old Bailey building from 1874, underwent a renovation costing £34.3 million that started in 2022. The seven-story hotel will feature 111 rooms, an all-day Turkish restaurant Leydi, and an underground cocktail bar Black Lacquer. Hyde originated as a nightclub in Los Angeles in 2005 and currently has hotels in Hollywood Beach, Midtown Miami, Ibiza, and Dubai, with upcoming locations in Bodrum and Perth.

🏝 Barceló Cappadocia in Ortahisar is the Spanish group's 4th hotel in Turkey and the 1st in Cappadocia. Boasting a 5-star rating, it features 170 rooms including 19 deluxe cave rooms. It offers a wellness center with spa, an outdoor pool, a convention center, and a Mediterranean rooftop restaurant. Barceló now operates four hotels in Turkey with a total of 690 rooms, having invested over 70 million euros, signaling its strategic interest in the country.

🏨 The TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel will open in 2025 at Liszt Ferenc International Airport, offering 167 rooms and totaling 8,000 m2. Amenities include a 150-seat conference area, two meeting rooms, a fitness center, and a rooftop sky bar. Situated steps from Terminal 2, it complements the 2018-opened ibis Styles Budapest Airport Hotel and is managed by WING under an Accor agreement. This development aligns with Budapest Airport's goal to enhance services amidst rising passenger traffic and is part of the Terminal 3 project.

🏨 Le Groupe Honotel acquires Theater Hotel in Antwerp via FPCI Cap Hospitality IV. Hotel features 127 rooms, "le Tartuffe" bar, and meeting facilities, catering to both business and leisure travelers. Centrally located near the train station, renovations and rebranding under HappyCulture are planned. Second acquisition for Honotel in 2023, expanding Belgian presence to 3 properties. The group aims for further investment, with a portfolio now totaling 48 hotel assets.

🏠 Adagio Original Paris Boulogne, a major European aparthotel player, launches a new establishment featuring 101 equipped apartments, including 78 studios (18-26 m²) and 23 one-bedroom apartments (26-39 m2), many with terraces or balconies. Located in Boulogne-Billancourt's eco-district, "Le Trapèze," near landmarks like La Seine Musicale, Roland-Garros, and Parc des Princes. Amenities include a fitness area, laundry, kids' corner, and "Library of Things," with eco-friendly features like electric vehicle charging. The opening precedes the Olympic and Paralympic Games, underscoring Adagio's development ambitions.

🏦 Richard Crawford, a University of Tasmania BA graduate (1993), cofounded Tasmania's internationally acclaimed Henry Jones Art Hotel, Australia's most awarded hotel under his leadership. Involved with Thrifty Car Rental Tasmania and Tas Vacations, Richard has served on boards for Fahan School, Waterfront Business Community, TasTAFE, Tourism Industry Council Tasmania, and Tennis Tasmania. Since 2017, he oversees Marriott International's hotel development in Australia-Pacific, with the company employing over 800,000 individuals, operating 9,000 hotels across 142 countries with 30+ brands. Marriott's Sheraton Port Moresby Stanley Hotel and Suites in Papua New Guinea is set to open in August 2025, offering 378 rooms, including 15 suites, 95 apartments, and the country's largest, most modern conference center at 2,500m².

🎶 Avani Hotels debuts in Germany with Avani Frankfurt City, offering immersive experiences like painting classes, walking tours, pedal boat trips, and mixology classes, all set to electronic music. The hotel collaborates with Entkorkte Kunst for painting workshops at their lively Pantry bar. A Silent Techno Walking Tour, in collaboration with Hushbeats, takes guests through eight key Frankfurt locations, including Alte Oper and the Museum of Modern Electronic Music (MOMEM).

🏖️ TAFER Hotels & Resorts, known for its award-winning hotels, luxury resorts, and charming villas, announces its venture into hotel management services, acquiring three properties: Palmar Azul Beach on Mexico's Riviera Maya, Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Miches, and Kairi Club Miches in the Dominican Republic. COO Sasa Milojevic highlights the company's commitment to excellence and innovation. The renovated Palmar Azul Beach Resort Riviera Maya will reopen as an all-inclusive luxury getaway in Quintana Roo, Mexico, in January 2025.

🏬 Six Senses Fort Barwara, located 2.5 hours from Jaipur, wins the 1st prize at the Hotel & Lodge Awards 2024, in the Architect category. The 14th-century fort took a decade to transform into a luxury hotel by architects Parul Zaveri and Nimish Patel of Panika Architects. The property spans 2.2 hectares with a luxury hotel featuring 48 suites, three restaurants, a spa, and a wellness center, all surrounded by 6-meter high fort walls and including palaces and temples. Traditional Rajasthani architecture and local materials such as white marble and pink sandstone are incorporated, employing local artists and craftsmen.
