🏡 The Social Club, founded in 2020 by Denis Allegrini in Nîmes, plans to open a new establishment annually over the next 2-3 years. Recently, it acquired the 16th-century Château Les Oliviers de Salettes in Drôme, which they bought in 2023 and upgraded to a 5-star hotel with 29 rooms, a spa, and the Lavandin restaurant in 2024. The group now operates 5 hotels and 9 dining outlets, mainly in Southern France and Paris. The Social Club will transform a historical building into a 4-star hotel, Maison des drapiers, in Briançon by end of 2025, and convert Château de Barbegal to a 5-star, 27-room hotel in 2026. Chef Kevin Vaubourg, previously with Maison Pic, leads Lavandin's kitchen, offering fresh, plant-based cuisine.

🍴 Chefs Wilfried Romain (30) and sommelier Rémi Badjoint (27) opened Lava restaurant in Paris' 5th arrondissement in late 2023. With 55 seats, the venue offers a menu that includes a €21 meal with a glass of wine. Celebrated dishes include veal tartare and chocolate dessert. Romain’s cuisine, influenced by his travels, focuses on fresh, quality ingredients with a €100 average ticket. Lava offers weekly changing lunch deals and two evening menus, with three wine pairing options at €40, €60, or €80. Romain and Badjoint maintain independence without investors, aiming for profitability.

🏨 Peppers Edge, an Australian group with a 235-room hotel, is set to expand with a 135-room MGallery luxury hotel on Wenzhou Banping Island, China, by the end of 2027. This location will be Peppers' first in China, adding to its portfolio of 26 properties. MGallery's growth in China continues with five openings planned in 2024, adding to its existing five hotels in locations like Chengdu and Hong Kong. The new resorts aim to offer intimate hospitality with an environmental touch, local cultural charm, and guest wellness.

🍷 Bellevigne Bourgogne, a new hotel by Les Hotels (très) particuliers, opens in October in Chambolle-Musigny, Côtes-de-Nuits. Offering 37 rooms, the 18th-century manor, redesigned by interior architect Jordane Arrivetz, features a 180-seat restaurant by executive chef Etienne Berg, a wine cellar with 300+ local references, wine bar, tasting cellars, spa, pool, and a park for wine enthusiasts and professionals.

🏨 Preferred Hotels & Resorts welcomes 30 new members from destinations like South Africa, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, and the Dominican Republic, marking the biggest new member announcement since 2018. Eight of these are from the prestigious Legend Collection, showcasing top luxury. Notable among them is Boutique Hotel Stresa (Stresa, Italy) – LVX Collection, a 250-year-old property, now a luxury hotel with 30 unique accommodations, including 26 light-filled suites and four private spa suites.

🏠 Les Vagues Hôtel & Spa opens on July 26 featuring a glass and ivory tower facing the sea, next to a fully renovated Arcachon villa. With 45 rooms including 13 suites, guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the Arcachon Basin or the Winter Town. 🏠 Located in Graz, the capital of Styria, Austria, the Radisson Hotel Graz offers 232 rooms and is the largest hotel in the city. The hotel provides a fusion of historical and modern attractions, and features rooms designed in the Radisson style. Managed by General Manager Matthias Guttengeber, the hotel aims to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay for both leisure and business travelers, while also offering Middle Eastern cuisine at the restaurant Balaustine.

🏙 "Viceroy at Ombria Algarve" is set to become the new destination in the heart of the Algarve region, featuring a 360-degree panoramic view of its hilly terrain. Mark Keiser, President of Development at Viceroy, highlights the brand's expansion in Europe and aims to connect guests with their destinations. Together with local authenticity emphasized by Patrick Freeman, CEO of Ombria, Viceroy will offer 76 hotel rooms, 65 residences, a spa, an indoor thermal pool, and six local cuisine restaurants and bars. WATG and PROMONTORIO lead the architectural design.

🏨 Spark by Hilton, an expanding hotel brand, set to open a new 103-room facility in downtown Sindelfingen within the year. The franchise deal with Aspire Hotels follows the 2023 launch of the first Spark by Hilton, the fastest-deployed brand in the company's history. Since its initial hotel debut last September, the brand has grown to nearly 50 operating hotels, with over 175 under development. The Stuttgart Sindelfingen location offers meeting space, breakfast area, multi-purpose gym, and on-site parking, with proximity to local attractions and a Mercedes-Benz manufacturing site employing over 21,000 staff. It's under 20 minutes from Stuttgart Airport, which saw 8.4 million passengers last year, and less than 32 km from the MHP Arena, home to over 60,000 VfB Stuttgart fans per Bundesliga home match.

🏦 RIU Hotels & Resorts launched Riu Plaza Chicago, a 4-star hotel with 390 rooms located at Chicago's Magnificent Mile. The hotel features a 28-story building with modern facilities including a fully-equipped gym, a restaurant, and a lobby bar. Its highlight, The Rooftop bar on the 27th floor, is set to open in early September 2024, offering panoramic city views. RIU, founded in 1953 by the Riu family, operates 97 hotels in 21 countries, welcomed 6.4 million guests and employed 35,808 people in 2023.
