🏦 OWO, formerly the British Old War Office, transformed into a five-star hotel since September. The historic building, inaugurated in 1906, underwent a six-year restoration and now operates under Raffles, Accor with Philippe Lebœuf as the general manager. Guerlain designed a four-story spa featuring a 20-meter pool, exclusive massages, and holistic programs by Pillar Wellbeing. It won the 2024 Hotel & Lodge Awards' Wellness category.

🏬 Six Senses Fort Barwara, located 2.5 hours from Jaipur, wins the 1st prize at the Hotel & Lodge Awards 2024, in the Architect category. The 14th-century fort took a decade to transform into a luxury hotel by architects Parul Zaveri and Nimish Patel of Panika Architects. The property spans 2.2 hectares with a luxury hotel featuring 48 suites, three restaurants, a spa, and a wellness center, all surrounded by 6-meter high fort walls and including palaces and temples. Traditional Rajasthani architecture and local materials such as white marble and pink sandstone are incorporated, employing local artists and craftsmen.

Guy Martin, chef français, et son épouse Katherina Marx, architecte d'intérieur, ont transformé deux palais baroques en maisons d'hôtes de luxe à Nardo, dans le Salento, en Italie, il y a trois ans, et viennent de rénover un troisième, le Palazzo Matteo de 1000 m2 avec piscine à remous. Leur style mêle mobilier design et trésors vintage, avec des œuvres d'art du XVIe siècle et des créations de la deuxième moitié du XXe siècle.

Moins connue que d'autres régions, la High Sierra, mise en avant par Michael Vanderhurst, président du High Sierra Visitors Council, offre des paysages de montagnes et lacs, des activités de plein air et des hébergements haut de gamme comme le Ritz-Carlton au lac Tahoe. Il est conseillé d'y passer deux semaines pour explorer des sites tels que Visalia, le parc national de Yosemite et ceux de Sequoia et Kings Canyon.

Dans le parc national de Núi Chúa, au Vietnam, classé réserve de biosphère par l'UNESCO, 35 habitations composent l'Amanoi, un hôtel conçu par l'architecte Jean-Michel Gathy, qui s'intègre harmonieusement à la nature environnante sur 42 hectares, sans bruit ni constructions face à face. Ces bâtiments, inspirés des temples bouddhistes, offrent une vue directe sur la mer et sont entourés d'une végétation luxuriante, avec des marches menant au nirvana et des dieux potelés du vent comme gardiens.
