🏢 Vacap Hospitality, led by Amadou Loum Diagne, secured an $81 million (approximately 49 billion CFA francs) loan from the U.S. government-controlled DFC for constructing two hotels in Dakar's Almadies district. The agreement, aimed at countering Chinese and Russian presence in West Africa, was signed by U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell. The fund will be used for a 250-room Sheraton hotel and a luxury 150-key Aloft hotel.

🏨 Hôtelier Alboran opens a new Radisson hotel in Reims (Marne) this summer. The new building, part of an eco-district on a former railway brownfield, includes 102 rooms, a 70-seat bar-restaurant, fitness area, and rooftop on the 8th floor. Facilities for business clients include two meeting rooms (28 m² and 50 m²) and an 80 m² indoor studio near the rooftop. The hotel also offers coworking space and a rooftop view of Reims and its cathedral. Interior designer Ana Moussinet and art curator Sylvie Castellani, alongside photographer Maia Flore, contributed to the hotel's artistic and vintage design. Reims welcomes 5 million tourists annually, nearly half from abroad.

🏠 Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at Hangzhou Centre, set in Wulin Square, vibrant district of Hangzhou, will complement the Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake. This urban hotel is part of a complex featuring residences, offices, retail, and dining options. The hotel boasts 188 rooms, 26 suites with panoramic city views, a spa on the 18th floor, a modern gym, a heated indoor pool, terraces for events, and four unique dining concepts. Four Seasons has 130 hotels and resorts, plus 55 residential properties in 47 countries, with over 50 projects in development.

🏡 Hôtel d'Inghilterra Roma, a 16th-century residence, will reopen on September 27 after a renovation inspired by the Grand Tour era. Renovations, overseen by Elisabetta Fabri, President and CEO of Starhotels, included the restoration of the exterior and the protected historic facade, as well as modernization of upper floor rooms and suites. The hotel reduced its rooms from 84 to 80, enhancing luxury interiors. Italian master artisans contributed to the restoration as part of "La Grande Bellezza – The Dream Factory" project.

🎲 Theater Hotel, boasting 127 spacious rooms, a bar named "le Tartuffe", and several meeting rooms, is conveniently located in the historic center of Antwerp, just 10 minutes from the train station. Renovation plans for the common areas and a complete floor are in the pipeline. This acquisition marks the 4th asset for FPCI Cap Hospitality IV, following the Aqua Hotel Brussels, Argus Hotel Brussels, and Hotel Ligo in Marseille. Theater Hotel is the 2nd acquisition by Honotel this year, expanding its Belgian presence to three establishments. Honotel President Laurent Lapouille anticipates continued investment momentum. Honotel, co-managed by Laurent Lapouille, Hélène Gauthier, and Patrick Luis, has completed over 100 hotel private equity transactions and is noted for its comprehensive service offering in the hospitality sector.

🏠 Groupe Della Frera, led by President Guido Della Frera, acquired 100% of Venezia Capitol shares, gaining full control of Hilton Garden Inn Venice Mestre San Giuliano. The hotel features 136 rooms, a restaurant, a pool, a large spa, generates over 7.5 million euros in revenue, and employs more than 40 staff members.

🎬 Francis Ford Coppola's group opened the All-Movie Hotel outside Atlanta, offering immersive cinematic experiences. Coppola fell in love with Peachtree City during his two-year Megalopolis shoot. The former Days Inn, now a 27-room film-centric hotel, features a state-of-the-art production center with two editing rooms, a recording studio, and a conference room for filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts.

🏡 Acquired in 2018, three 4-star hotels run by somnOO showcase meeting spaces and dining outlets. Mercure Hagen, near a conference center, offers 146 rooms, 11 meeting rooms (280 m², up to 300 guests), restaurant, bar, sauna, and fitness center. Mercure Hamm, city center adjacent to the train station, has 142 air-conditioned rooms, ten meeting rooms (390 m², up to 450 guests), winter garden, and spa. Mercure Lüdenscheid, near a park, features 170 rooms, restaurant, 12 conference rooms (260 m²), heated indoor pool, sauna, and fitness center.

🏨 Marriott Hotels unveils a new 12-story hotel featuring 376 contemporary rooms and suites, a rooftop pool, and a terrace with breathtaking city and ocean views. Rahul Vir, General Manager of Marriott Long Beach Downtown, highlights the hotel's local-inspired design and functional spaces, reinforcing the brand's commitment to enhancing guest experiences by anticipating needs, continuing to exceed expectations with exceptional, authentic services and premium experiences.

🏛 Ennismore to open its first Hyde establishment in London in September 2024, expanding the brand to the UK market. Hyde London City, set in the Grade II listed 15 Old Bailey building from 1874, underwent a renovation costing £34.3 million that started in 2022. The seven-story hotel will feature 111 rooms, an all-day Turkish restaurant Leydi, and an underground cocktail bar Black Lacquer. Hyde originated as a nightclub in Los Angeles in 2005 and currently has hotels in Hollywood Beach, Midtown Miami, Ibiza, and Dubai, with upcoming locations in Bodrum and Perth.
