🏡 Best Western Arcachon Le Port, located in l'Aiguillon, Arcachon, a 5-minute walk from the harbor and main beaches, has 57 rooms and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views. A renovation plan aims to upgrade it to a 4-star hotel. Honotel President Laurent Lapouille announced the property as their 3rd acquisition through the Cap Hospitality IV investment fund, which is still open for subscription. Advisors included Valther, Mazars, Monassier, Artelia, SVZ, and Exsolv'ho.

🏨 Fattal Group secured a senior loan of £525 million (€623 million) from Cheyne Capital to refinance four high-performing London hotels. Acquired in 2019, these hotels operate under Leonardo Hotels, Fattal's European brand, and include NYX Hotel London Holborn, Leonardo Royal Hotel London City, Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge, and Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s, totaling over 1,300 rooms. Migdal Insurance Company also contributed to the refinancing.

🏨 Fattal acquired 12 hotels from KSL Capital Partners for €360 million and plans to invest an additional €45 million in renovations. The deal, part of a strategic partnership with major Israeli financial institutions, is set for completion in Q3 2024. Eden Hotel Amsterdam is a highlight of the acquisition. Since 2022, Fattal has acquired 40 hotels with 6,200 rooms in Europe, worth over €1.5 billion, expanding their Benelux portfolio to 28 hotels.

🏠 Philippe and Laurent Davalo opened the Domaine du Liziec hotel in a 16th-century Vannes mansion, surrounded by over 6 hectares. It features 71 rooms designed by architect Arnaud Blanchard and various gardens. Olivier Samson, renowned for his 13 years at La Gourmandière, leads the culinary experience, including a brasserie and La Table du Liziec. Amenities include a 300㎡ spa with Ella Baché treatments, a fitness room, and two meeting rooms.

🏨 In Angers (Maine-et-Loire), the former central post office will be transformed into a voco hotel by IHG after a franchise deal with LWS Hospitality. Renovation starts Q4 2023, with opening slated for Q1 2027. The hotel will offer 110 rooms, a barista, a 500 m² restaurant, and an event space, all designed by Fabien Roque of Roque Intérieurs, ensuring a unique historical yet welcoming atmosphere.

🏦 Hôtel Navarra**** in Bruges, open for 40 years and recognized by UNESCO, has been signed as the first foreign asset by SOHOMA International, in partnership with EXTENDAM and 123 IM, as part of their pan-European expansion strategy that includes Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and Italy. The hotel features 3,700 m² of space, 94 keys, amenities for business and leisure clients, and its location is within a 10-minute walk from the Concertgebouw concert hall and conference center. This marks the 4th acquisition for SOHOMA and 123 IM in Belgium, with more under consideration, highlighting Bruges’ premium positioning near French and Dutch borders, one hour from Brussels, 2h20 from Paris, and 2h50 from Amsterdam or London.

🏡 The Social Club, founded in 2020 by Denis Allegrini in Nîmes, plans to open a new establishment annually over the next 2-3 years. Recently, it acquired the 16th-century Château Les Oliviers de Salettes in Drôme, which they bought in 2023 and upgraded to a 5-star hotel with 29 rooms, a spa, and the Lavandin restaurant in 2024. The group now operates 5 hotels and 9 dining outlets, mainly in Southern France and Paris. The Social Club will transform a historical building into a 4-star hotel, Maison des drapiers, in Briançon by end of 2025, and convert Château de Barbegal to a 5-star, 27-room hotel in 2026. Chef Kevin Vaubourg, previously with Maison Pic, leads Lavandin's kitchen, offering fresh, plant-based cuisine.

🍴 Chefs Wilfried Romain (30) and sommelier Rémi Badjoint (27) opened Lava restaurant in Paris' 5th arrondissement in late 2023. With 55 seats, the venue offers a menu that includes a €21 meal with a glass of wine. Celebrated dishes include veal tartare and chocolate dessert. Romain’s cuisine, influenced by his travels, focuses on fresh, quality ingredients with a €100 average ticket. Lava offers weekly changing lunch deals and two evening menus, with three wine pairing options at €40, €60, or €80. Romain and Badjoint maintain independence without investors, aiming for profitability.

🏨 Peppers Edge, an Australian group with a 235-room hotel, is set to expand with a 135-room MGallery luxury hotel on Wenzhou Banping Island, China, by the end of 2027. This location will be Peppers' first in China, adding to its portfolio of 26 properties. MGallery's growth in China continues with five openings planned in 2024, adding to its existing five hotels in locations like Chengdu and Hong Kong. The new resorts aim to offer intimate hospitality with an environmental touch, local cultural charm, and guest wellness.

🍷 Bellevigne Bourgogne, a new hotel by Les Hotels (très) particuliers, opens in October in Chambolle-Musigny, Côtes-de-Nuits. Offering 37 rooms, the 18th-century manor, redesigned by interior architect Jordane Arrivetz, features a 180-seat restaurant by executive chef Etienne Berg, a wine cellar with 300+ local references, wine bar, tasting cellars, spa, pool, and a park for wine enthusiasts and professionals.
