🏨 Premia Properties, an Athens-based real estate investment company, acquired two Sunwing resorts in Greece from Nordic Leisure Travel Group (NLTG) for €112.5 million. The transaction includes the Sunwing Kallithea Beach in Rhodes with 534 rooms and a 118,000 m² property, and Sunwing Makrigialos & Ocean Beach Club in Crete with 262 rooms on a 54,000 m² property. The deal marks Premia's strategic expansion into the Greek hospitality sector, significantly increasing its real estate portfolio and investment income, as stated by CEO Kostas Markazos.

🏨 Eurostars Hotel Company acquires Hotel Alborán in Chiclana de la Frontera, Cadix, rebranded as Crisol Chiclana under Crisol Hotels. Advised by Christie & Co, Eurostars now has 17 Crisol Hotels in Spain, totalling 20 with those in Portugal and Argentina. Opened in 2002, the 3-star Hotel Alborán features 67 rooms, a cafeteria, meeting/event spaces, and private parking. The acquisition is part of Eurostars' expansion strategy to strengthen its market presence.

🏦 Opened on July 22 after nearly 3 years of construction, the H4 Hotel Wyndham replaced the Pleyel offices in Seine-Saint-Denis (93). The 40-story hotel boasts 697 rooms, 4 four-star suites, and a 10,000 m² conference space with 16 meeting rooms for up to 2,600 people. It aims to attract business clients and features a gym, panoramic pool, Executive Lounge, and four dining areas serving "homemade" cuisine.

🏠 SUNDAY Hotels, a joint venture between Softbank and Oravel Stays (parent company of OYO), plans to launch 25 premium hotels by March 2025 in key Indian travel destinations including Gurgaon, Manesar, and Corbett. Oravel Stays announced this expansion as a natural progression in metropolitan cities, starting with Gurgaon, to grow its footprint and meet evolving customer needs. Aditya Sharma, Commercial Director of Oravel Stays Pvt Ltd., emphasized the meticulous selection of locations for convenient access to business districts, cultural landmarks, and entertainment centers. Currently, three SUNDAY hotels are operational in Jaipur, Vadodara, and Chandigarh.

🏨 Hilton, partnering with Mardev Developments, is set to launch the Hilton Garden Inn Cairo New Zayed in 2028, expanding their Egyptian portfolio. The hotel, situated in a mixed-use district in West Cairo near shops, the Sphinx International Airport, and historical sites, will feature 179 rooms and suites, four meeting rooms, a fitness center, and an outdoor pool. Hilton's plan aims to more than double their local presence to over 30 hotels in the coming years.

🏨 Whitbread PLC's Premier Inn brand opened a new hotel in London at Paddington Station, combining Premier Inn and hub by Premier Inn in one building with 369 rooms. The opening completes Whitbread's network plan for Paddington, where it has heavily invested, now offering over 1,000 rooms across four hotels and providing 200+ jobs. The hotel is strategically located meters away from the Elizabeth Line and Paddington Station, enhancing connectivity. The expansion since Spring 2022 showcases Whitbread's adaptability to prime locations.

🏡 Hilton to expand in Portugal with three new hotels: Canopy by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and DoubleTree by Hilton, set to open in 2025 and 2026. This growth follows a record number of tourists visiting Portugal last year. The Canopy by Hilton Vilamoura Marina, opening in 2026, will offer 155 rooms, a restaurant, bar, spa, outdoor pool, and fitness center, 500 meters from Praia da Vilamoura, as part of an agreement with Arrow Global Group.

🏨 GRIDX is connected to major cities like Strasbourg, Metz, Brussels, less than three hours from Paris and Lille, linked by highways A4, A6, A13, A3, with future tramway lines. The new XNOTO hotel, part of the 42,000 m² multifunctional GRIDX site, includes meeting, event, office, retail, and leisure services. The project, by Félix Giorgetti, in collaboration with Cycas Hospitality, becomes Cycas's 7th hotel in the Benelux region following the recent openings of Moxy Paris Clamart and DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre.

🏡 The Woodward, part of Oetker Collection, has rejuvenated 37 Quai Wilson in Geneva with a discreet, chic hotel experience. Awarded 1st Prize at the Hotel & Lodge Awards 2024 in the Prestige category, the hotel boasts 26 suites, 21 with lake views, and interiors by Pierre-Yves Rochon. Amenities include a Guerlain spa, a pool, a hammam, and dining options like the 2 Michelin-starred Atelier Robuchon and Le Jardinier under Michelin-starred chef Alain Verzeroli.

🏕 Ennismore opens its first Hyde brand hotel in Africa with Hyde Johannesburg, marking Kasada's initial investment in the city. The hotel, nestled in Rosebank's vibrant district, features 131 rooms, 31 suites, and a gym. Hyde Johannesburg will undergo a light renovation for a bohemian vibe with new murals, collaborative artistic/music spaces, and installations to showcase local artists. The mixed-use building also houses the popular Proud Mary restaurant, meeting rooms, and 7,400 m² of fully leased coworking, office, and retail space. In 2022, the building won the International Property Award for Best Mixed-Use Development. Hyde, established in Los Angeles, embodies a bohemian, festival-like atmosphere.
