🏨 Hyatt Hotels Corporation and MEININGER Hotels are expanding in Germany, opening new hotels in key cities. Hyatt plans four hotels in Hamburg by 2026, including Hyatt Regency Hamburg Hafencity, Hyatt Centric Altstadt Hamburg, and two Me and All Hotels, aiming for a 30% capacity increase in Germany over three years. MEININGER announces a new property in Kiel for 2027 with 177 rooms across 12 floors. These projects highlight Germany as a strategic market and focus on urban and leisure offerings.

🏡 Overlooking Vence, the former Templar fortress, now a 5-star establishment in the Oetker Collection, offers views to the Mediterranean. The Rossini bar, led by Naples-native head barman Emanuele De Rosa for three years, transforms from serving amber tea with pastries under 18th-century tapestries in the morning to rosé from Côtes-de-Provence and Sauvignon Blanc from Loire accompanied by tapas from Michelin-starred chef Jean-Luc Lefrançois during the day. The venue comes to life before sunset, with music and a selection of cocktails, like the strawberry-pureé Rossini and the Côte d'Azur with vodka, fresh lemon, and grapefruit juice.

🏨 Marriott International, the world's leading hotel group, expands in Europe with new openings in Austria, Poland, and Spain across three brands. Courtyard by Marriott strengthens its presence in Vienna through the acquisition of the Courtyard by Marriott Vienna Prater/Messe by Art-Invest Real Estate. This 251-room hotel located between the Prater, the Vienna fair, and the Danube offers amenities including a bar, restaurant, meeting rooms, fitness center, and sauna, boasting a BREEAM 'Excellent' sustainability certification. The hotel, leased long-term to Borealis Hotel Group, is near the University of Vienna and Ernst-Happel Stadium. This marks Art-Invest Real Estate's first investment in Austria. Element by Westin debuts in Wroclaw, Poland, with a new opening scheduled for September 2024.

🏨 Mandarin Oriental Kanai, Riviera Maya, will open in 2028 on the Yucatan Peninsula's seafront, Mexico, including private residences. Renowned Mexican contemporary artist Bosco Sodi contributes to its art. Spanning 275 hectares with only 9% used for construction to preserve the natural habitat, it's a 30-minute drive from Cancun Airport and 10 minutes from downtown Playa del Carmen.

🍺 In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Accor Arena in Paris, a hidden bar named Somewhere Bar has been inaugurated. Accessible only to Accor group clients and All loyalty program members, this speakeasy features a cozy lounge atmosphere with a circular bar. It represents the Handwritten Collection by Accor, which consists of 17 hotels in 11 countries. New additions include Fort Saint-Laurent Hôtel & Spa in Lyon and Hotel Maison Hamelin in Paris' 16th district.

🏢 In Rueil-Malmaison, Novaxia Investissement is transforming 10,000 m² of vacant offices into a 450+ unit residence with shared spaces, services, and a restaurant, totaling 19,000 m². Delivered by Novaxia Développement, the project is expected to complete in the second half of 2026. Romain Ferré highlighted the value creation of this project for NATIF Asset Management and the community, addressing office vacancies and accommodation shortages in Ile-de-France.

🏨 Al Hoceinia Hospitality, part of Al Hoceinia Holding, inaugurated Radisson Hôtel Casablanca Gauthier La Citadelle in April 2024 with a €28 million investment. They plan to expand their network of urban 4 and 5-star hotels across Morocco, eyeing 5 additional hotels in the next 5 years. Two 4-star hotels are under construction in Casablanca and a 5-star hotel featuring 52 suites is also planned.

🏦 Inauguration on October 4, in Rouen, by Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol, Daniel Havis, Nicolas Gomart, and Christophe Bidaud of 'L’Ecole buissonnière', a real estate project for historic preservation. The Matmut Group's renovation of the former Ecole normale d’institutrices at 77 route de Neufchâtel transformed it into a compound including a Hyatt Place hotel with 85 rooms, a spa, fitness center, restaurant, and a 150 m² reception area, plus offices totaling 8,000 m².

🏨 Marriott International has made its debut in Luxembourg by recently opening the Moxy Luxembourg Airport and plans to open the Luxembourg Marriott Hotel Alfa by the end of 2024. Alexandra Goguet, Vice President of Development for France and Benelux at Marriott International, expresses excitement for providing Marriott Bonvoy members and travelers with new experiences in the ideally located Grand Duchy, hinting at the potential for future hotel openings in Luxembourg.

🏖️ Hyatt Hotels Corporation expanded its Inclusive Collection in Europe with the opening of the Dreams Madeira Resort, Spa & Marina in Portugal, adding a 366-room all-inclusive family resort to its portfolio. Located on the island of Madeira, this luxury establishment aligns with Hyatt's strategic growth plan to introduce new hotel destinations and offers unique, distinctive options for travelers and members. The resort features easy access to local activities such as diving, luxury yacht outings, whale and dolphin watching, and sport fishing.
