🏠 The iconic 5-star hotel in the heart of Rome, managed by Massimo Coli, will reopen on September 27, 2024, after a major renovation. The hotel, part of Starhotels Collezione led by President and CEO Elisabetta Fabri, now features 84 renovated rooms and suites, a serene spa suite, and a new dining experience at Café Romano. 🚿 The Waterfront Hotel in Sliema, Malta, with 165 rooms, has implemented HYDRAO's color-changing showerheads and rain showers to reduce water and energy consumption. These connected devices sensitize guests towards conservation by altering colors based on the amount of water used. Located 20 minutes from Malta International Airport, the hotel aims to decrease water usage and the cost of heating water. The Waterfront Hotel boasts an outdoor pool and scenic views of Sliema port, Manoel Island, and Valletta, with most rooms offering sea views.

📑 Atout France launched the 3rd phase of its "Innovation touristique et terrains d’expérimentations" call on September 17, targeting sustainable and digital transformation in the tourism economy. Applications are open until November 5, focusing on 5 themes including inclusive tourism and circular economy. Public, semi-public, associative, or private entities with operational expertise in innovation support can apply. Winners will receive up to €60,000 (excl. VAT) per project.
