L’Hôtel du Couvent à Nice, une hospitalité hors du temps
🏠 Valéry Grégo, leader of Perseus group, transformed a historic convent in old-Nice into the luxurious Hôtel du Couvent, now part of Marriott's Luxury Collection Hotel. Opened after a decade of meticulous restoration, the hotel boasts 88 rooms, three restaurants, a swimming facility, documentation center, bakery, herbalist shop, and outdoor market. The project, costing €100M, preserved the original buildings dating back to 1604 and added a new structure. Accommodations range from monastic cells to a 166 sqm suite. The hotel sources its produce from its farm 50 km away, showcases over 300 plant species in its garden, and offers a 20-meter swimming pool and various courses at Mouvement Studio.
