Le marché de l’insolite continue de croître

🏕️ On December 3, the "3rd edition of the Observatoire de l’Insolite" was held by Groupe Unic Stay and Cabinet Alliances in partnership with Oise Tourisme. The unusual accommodation sector saw a 30% increase from 2023, reaching 2,226 professional sites in 2024, with Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (17%), Nouvelle Aquitaine (15%), and Occitanie (12%) leading in offerings. Business volume in 2023 hit €430 million, up 65% from 2021, with 1.2 million overnight stays (+46% from 2021). The average basket for cabin stays rose 18% from 2019 to €301. Water cabins and Tiny Houses saw significant demand increases, by 73% and 204% respectively compared to 2021. Despite growth, market maturation is noted, slowed by urban and climate constraints and lack of public funding.

L’hôtel Comté de Nice change de mains via Santareim Partners
