Businesses face risks including disrupted reservation schedules, potential conflicts, loss of clientele, and damage to reputation. Recommended solutions include promoting an official site, improving its SEO, warning customers, and reporting the platforms to authorities. Victims are advised to report the scam to the police and signal the DGCCRF at https://signal.conso.gouv.fr/fr. For further assistance, contact is available at 01.42.96.88.74.

Avis UNPLV – Meublés de tourisme : un texte inefficace pour le logement qui porte atteinte au pouvoir d’achat des Français et au droit de propriété

  • TH
  • 12 novembre 2024
🏠 French deputies and senators agreed on a new regulation law on October 28, which is the fifth in ten years, targeting tourism furnished rentals. The UNPLV criticizes the law for not addressing the housing crisis and for infringing on property rights and the purchasing power of French renters and vacationers. The legislation fails to target the minority of multi-property owners, instead affecting individuals who rent their primary residence or part-time homes, potentially reducing the rental days from 120 to 90, creating legal uncertainty.

Key measures include registration requirement, reduced tax deductions from 50% to 30% for non-classified rentals with a €15,000 ceiling, and from 71% to 50% with a €77,000 ceiling for classified rentals and guesthouses. Residence rentals capped at 90 days, down from 120. Energy performance diagnostics ranked D by 2034 for non-primary residences. The number of furnished tourist accommodations surged from 300,000 to 1.2 million over eight years. Guest & Strategy, founded in 2010, confirms regulation necessity. Taxis volants : Lilium lance une procédure de redressement judiciaire

  • Margot Ladiray
  • 4 novembre 2024
🛫 Lilium GmbH and Lilium eAircraft GmbH, eVTOL construction companies in Germany, launch judicial restructuring to avoid liquidation and continue operations. After a partnership with ADP in July 2024 and raising €200 million in 2023, Lilium faced financial difficulties due to a denied loan guarantee by KfW bank, a prerequisite for private fundraising and a €100 million loan aligned with the Bavarian government. Competing internationally, Lilium sought a French government guarantee for a €219 million loan to fund a battery factory and assembly line in Southwest France. The restructuring, subject to court approval, aims to preserve the business with management control under a custodian's supervision. CEO Klaus Roewe believes in the potential for a fresh start post-insolvency proceedings and in electric aviation for decarbonization. 📅 Key dates: partnership in July 2024, €200 million raised in 2023, first Lilium Jet flight planned for early 2025, and financing through 2026 anticipated.
