Social, USA | Le « Safe Hotels Act » adopté par la ville de New York : fin de la sous-traitance et nouvelles obligations sociales !
🏨 On November 4, 2024, the New York City Council approved the 'Safe Hotels Act,' exempting hotels with under 100 rooms from certain regulations. Mayor Adams emphasized the safety of hotel workers and tourists, aiming for secure, healthy, and clean hotels that support the tourism and hospitality industry. The Act mandates hotel operators to have a license, costing $350, with a two-year compliance timeframe. Hotels over 100 rooms must hire staff directly, ensure continuous reception coverage, and have a permanent security agent if any room is occupied. All main hotel employees must have panic buttons.
