Étude HVS | L’hôtellerie européenne résiste et a poursuivi sa croissance en 2024

🏨 European hotels increased in value by 2% in 2024 despite geopolitical tensions and climate change challenges. The growth attributes to lower interest rates, moderate RevPAR growth, and high international travel demand. South Europe leads with a near-complete recovery to pre-crisis values, while Eastern Europe shows the second-highest growth. Athens tops the list with an 11.8% increase, followed by Lisbon, Madrid, and Edinburgh with 6-8%. Munich (+4.8%), Frankfurt (+3.4%), Berlin (+2.8%), and Hamburg (+0.9%) benefit from trade fairs and business tourism. Paris remains Europe's most expensive city, while the European hotel industry anticipates 50 million more overnight stays in 2024 compared to the previous year, signaling strong tourism demand.
