Le baromètre du tourisme parisien : septembre 2024

🌆 During the 2024 Paris Olympics, tourist numbers are expected to reach 3 million, a 16.3% increase from 2023. Post-Games, last quarter 2024 forecasts indicate a rise in international tourist arrivals with air travel from the US up by 7.9%, the UK by 9.4%, Brazil by 11.5%, and Japan by 22.5%. Year-end festivities could see a 13.5% increase in tourists compared to 2023. Air arrivals are projected to be up 7.1% from 2023 and 8.8% from 2019. Chinese tourist arrivals might increase by 89.1% from 2023 but still be 27.8% lower than in 2019. Hotel booking rates for early October are expected to average 60%, mirroring last year's figures.
