🏝️ ONYX Hospitality expands its portfolio with Amari Bangsaen, located an hour from Bangkok by the Bangsaen beach. It features 154 rooms and suites catering to families, couples, and business travelers. The resort offers MICE facilities with 15 meeting rooms for up to 1,000 people. Culinary experiences include the Amaya Food Gallery with Asian-Western fusion cuisine and bars like Maitree Bar and Aqua Eatery & Bar.

📅 Ascott Limited, a CapitaLand Investment subsidiary, expands The Crest Collection with 1,200 new units in East Asia and the Middle East within six months, reaching 16 establishments across 13 cities and 11 countries. New locations: SEN/KA TOKYO (2029), Hong Yuan Hotel, Haikou, and Wuhan, China, Al Mahra Resort, Ras Al Khaimah (2027), Riyadh (2028), and La Clef Bangkok (mid-2025). Serena Lim, Chief Growth Officer, emphasizes the brand’s conversion label stature.

📍 IHG Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Palm Holdings, will open a dual-brand complex in Waterloo, London, featuring voco London – Waterloo and Hotel Indigo & Suites London – Waterloo. Expected to open by Q4 2028, the complex will house over 350 rooms, with voco providing 182 rooms and Hotel Indigo offering 172. This marks a strategic expansion in the UK, where IHG already operates 363 hotels and has 33 more in development. Both hotels will share amenities like restaurants and a business center.

🏨 Palácio de Tavira, located in Tavira, Algarve, Portugal, is set to open in late July 2025. Managed by Marugal Distinctive Hotel Management, this new hotel enriches their portfolio in Spain, France, Portugal, and Switzerland. Situated 30 minutes from Faro, Tavira offers historical streets, sunny terraces, and sandy beaches. Golf enthusiasts will find 15 courses within 40 minutes of the hotel. The design reflects a blend of Portuguese elegance and Moorish influences.

🏨 In Paris' serene 16th arrondissement, the Terrot group inaugurates Noucha, a new 4-star hotel with a familial touch. Situated in a historic building once owned by the Birene family, the hotel is named after the owner Samuel Gelrubin's grandmother, Noucha. The interior, designed by Jordane Arrivetz, blends traditional and modern elements, embodying Parisian elegance and an intimate, welcoming atmosphere. Noucha offers a unique experience, reflecting the rich history of its neighborhood.

🏨 Meliá Hotels International et Banca March ont acquis deux hôtels en Espagne : Sol Tenerife (522 chambres) à Playa de las Américas et Innside Palma Bosque (262 chambres) à Majorque. Banca March détient 70 % de la coentreprise, Meliá 30 %. Les rénovations sont prévues pour 2025-2027, pour améliorer leur positionnement et rentabilité. 🏨 Choice Hotels International, in 2025, added 31 hotels and over 3,300 rooms outside the U.S., with more than 11,000 rooms planned, marking a 95% increase in its global pipeline. In Europe, collaborations like with Strawberry aim for five hotels, including Sweden's Ice Hotel. In France, 34 new properties, including Comfort brand aparthotels on the Côte d'Azur and in Annecy, will open by 2025. In Spain, six new hotels were added in 2024 via Faranda Hotels.

🏨 Shepherd Mayfair, a new boutique hotel with 82 rooms, is set to open this year in London's Shepherd Market. Developed by Bain Capital and Orka Investments, it will join the Elegant Hotel Collection. Located off Park Lane, it transforms the former Park Lane Mews Hotel. Designed by Buckley Gray Yeoman and Timothy Shepherd, it blends 17th-century heritage with modern luxury. The hotel will feature a café, an all-day brasserie, and a speakeasy cocktail bar.

📍 Moxy Istanbul Beyoğlu, Turkey, opened by Marriott Bonvoy in Beyoğlu. The hotel offers 167 rooms, designed by Designist Architecture, blending neoclassical and modern styles. Located in the historic Afrika Han building, it features bold colors and local art. Facilities include USB ports, smart TVs, and free Wi-Fi. Social areas: Bar Moxy with craft cocktails and local beers. The hotel aims to provide a stylish experience for the new generation of travelers.
