🏨 Scandic is expanding its urban brand, Scandic Go, by opening a new 138-room hotel in Turku, Finland, in the second half of 2026. The hotel will be in a renovated part of the former Scandic Atrium, strategically positioned between a developing port and the university, near the city center. The building will comply with Nordic Swan Ecolabel standards, offering an affordable, sustainable option. Scandic aims to operate 881 rooms in Turku by 2026.

🏨 Hilton announced a partnership with Central Japan Railway Company for the Hilton Takayama Resort in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. The project involves repositioning the Hotel Associa Takayama Resort under the Hilton brand. Renovations, led by Hashimoto Yukio Design Studio, will feature the "Art of Mountain Folk" concept and include new 90 m² suites, renovated 70 m² suites, an executive lounge, and a fitness center.
