🏨 The Salamander Washington DC, located in the dynamic southwest waterfront of the U.S. capital, has joined Preferred Hotels & Resorts' Legend Collection. This recently transformed hotel features 373 rooms, redesigned by Thomas Pheasant. Highlights include a two-story spa and the popular Afro-Caribbean restaurant Dōgon by chef Kwame Onwuachi. Guests can now join the I Prefer Hotel Rewards program, part of a network with over 600 hotels in 80 countries.

🏨 L'approbation pour construire un hôtel Fairfield by Marriott de 142 chambres à Gaydon, près du British Motor Museum, a été accordée. 🏖 Dusit Hotels & Resorts will open dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives, its first all-inclusive resort, on July 27, 2025. Located seven minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport, the resort will offer 127 villas in seven categories, ranging from 77 to 306 m². Led by Yogeswaran Veerasamy, the resort will feature five restaurants, premium drinks, daily entertainment, and personalized experiences. The official inauguration is planned for late 2025.

🏨 Hilton and M&L Group announced the opening of the first Waldorf Astoria hotel in the Nordic countries, set for 2023 in Helsinki's historic Kruununhaka district. The 116-room Hotel Maria, designed by architect Lagerspetz in 1885, will be rebranded to Waldorf Astoria Helsinki after a brief transition. The luxury hotel will feature a signature culinary experience, a bar, fitness studio, and a Nordic spa with a traditional Finnish sauna.

💸 Esprit de France Hôtels & Demeures acquires 52% of Hôtel La Tamise's walls, a 4-star hotel in Paris's 1st arrondissement. Open since 1878 and part of the Esprit de France Collection since 2013, the hotel boasts nearly 90% occupancy. This move means Esprit de France now controls six out of thirteen establishments they operate, aiming for asset longevity and operational control. 🏨 September 2025, Claremont, Cape Town: Sabi Sabi Collection will debut The Claremont Boutique Hotel, their first venture outside renowned private lodges. This 1920s historic home, redesigned by Dakota Designs, will feature 15 distinct rooms and suites, including the exclusive Sauer Suite with a private pool.
