🏨 Petten, August 2025 – Accor has signed a development agreement for the future Mövenpick Resort & Spa Pettemer Duynen, the first Mövenpick resort in the Netherlands, set to open in 2028. Located in the coastal town of Petten, the resort will feature 240 elegant rooms, a spa, pools, restaurants, and meeting spaces for up to 500 people. Nearby, Landal will operate 13 apartments and 150 villas on a 50,000 m² site. Accor already manages 58 locations under 14 brands in the Netherlands.

🏠 The Ascott Limited, part of CapitaLand Investment, is set to manage a new 207-room, 5-star hotel at Ascott Coronation Square Johor Bahru, located in the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone. This marks the first major hotel collaboration following the January 2025 Malaysia-Singapore agreement. Scheduled for 2029, the hotel will connect to the RTS Link station at Bukit Chagar via a 210-meter elevated walkway. Coronation Square, a $1 billion project, features hotel, residential, medical, and commercial components.

🏨 Douala, 1er août 2025: Le Port autonome de Douala et Leilak Estates Corporation SARL ont signé un accord pour construire l'Hôtel Muayé, un hôtel 5 étoiles de 21 étages avec 282 chambres à Bonanjo. Le projet s'étendra sur 11,000 m², coûtera 244,3 millions d'euros, et créera environ 650 emplois. Avec un modèle BOT sur 28 ans, les revenus projetés sont de 1 645 milliards FCFA, incluant des redevances pour le PAD.

🏨 Rocco Forte Hotels and Emerald Pine Capital are partnering to expand in Europe and the Middle East. Rocco Forte currently operates hotels in cities like Milan, Rome, Florence, Edinburgh, London, Munich, Berlin, Brussels, and Saint Petersburg, with new openings planned in Milan (2025), Sardinia (2026), Noto (2026), and Naples (2027). This strategic partnership aims at creating value through repositioning and developing hotels in key urban and leisure destinations.

🏨 Andaz Lisbon, opening soon on Rua do Comércio, features 170 rooms and suites from 22 to 99 square meters. Guests will enjoy stunning views of landmarks like São Jorge Castle and Praça do Comércio. The hotel integrates local and international art into its design. Highlights include a rooftop restaurant with modern Lusitanian cuisine and live music, and the Andaz Lounge inspired by Lisbon's street kiosks. Experienced hotelier Cajetan Araujo will lead as general manager.

🏨 IHG has reached a milestone with over 6,700 hotels and one million operational rooms globally. This success is driven by its 20 brands and IHG One Rewards, one of the largest loyalty programs. In the first half of 2025, IHG recorded a record number of openings, including 4,000 hotels in the US and 800 in China. The development pipeline includes 2,200 hotels in high-growth markets, highlighting its strong expansion strategy.

🏖 Moreton Bay will host a new development overlooking Pumicestone Passage with 202 suites across two 10-story buildings. Inclusive of infinity and adults-only pools, wellness center, and event spaces, it's poised to generate 995 jobs and 117,000 annual overnight stays. Expected to drive $143.3 million in yearly tourism spending, the project aligns with Queensland’s Destination 2045 strategy, meeting demand for Brisbane 2032 Olympics accommodation.

🏨 Crowne Plaza Maroochydore is set to open in 2028 on Ocean Street, Maroochydore. The hotel will feature 180 rooms and over 770 m² of flexible meeting space, including a 600 m² ballroom. Facilities include a 30-meter pool, spa, gym, and secured parking. Dining options will accommodate 210 in an all-day restaurant and 160 in a signature restaurant. The region anticipates needing 2,400 more rooms by 2032 to meet MICE demand.

🌏 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — 7 août 2025. Club Med et PT Grahatama Kreasi Baru signent un accord pour le nouveau Club Med Manado, Indonésie, rejoignant Bali (1984) et Bintan (1997). Situé à 70 minutes de l'aéroport Sam Ratulangi, il comprendra 250 chambres. Le resort proposera une cuisine locale et internationale, des programmes familiaux, et un espace de luxe. Vise la certification BREEAM « Very Good » pour le développement durable. 🌿
