🏡 Hilton plans to open three new hotels in Portugal by 2025 and 2026 under the Canopy by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and DoubleTree by Hilton brands. This expansion is part of Hilton's growth strategy in Portugal, a country that reached peak tourist numbers last year. The Canopy by Hilton Vilamoura Marina, featuring 155 rooms, will be launched through a franchise agreement with Arrow Global Group and is expected to offer a premium hospitality experience in 2026. The Algarve region alone drew over five million visitors last year.

🏠 Ennismore and Kasada opened Hyde Johannesburg, the first Hyde hotel in Africa, located in Rosebank, Johannesburg. The hotel features 131 rooms, 31 suites, and amenities such as a gym and coworking spaces. The building also hosts Proud Mary restaurant, lounge, meeting rooms, and 7,400 m² of rented coworking, office and retail space. Hyde Johannesburg will undergo a minor renovation to match Hyde's bohemian identity, including new artistic installations. Rosebank is noted for shopping, art, culture, and business, and the building won the 2022 International Property Award for Best Mixed-Use Development.

🏛 Le Château de Fiac, situé dans le Tarn, était une maison de retraite il y a six ans et a été vendu à Gordon Oldham, un ex-avocat d'affaires. Oldham, qui possède 11 hôtels de luxe dans le monde, a transformé le château en un complexe hôtelier 4 étoiles après des travaux importants débutés en 2018. Ouvert depuis juin 2022, il propose 16 chambres, dont 6 suites, un spa, et un restaurant gastronomique. Matthieu Stauff, directeur associé, a précédemment exploité un hôtel 4 étoiles à Garrevaques. Le décor, mélange de styles français, anglais et zen, a été conçu par le décorateur français Alexis Dupont basé à Hong Kong.

🌆 Christophe San José and Bastien Deschamps opened Les Vagues hotel in Arcachon on July 26, after a project started in 2018 faced setbacks including wall collapses, Covid-19 halts, and legal challenges. The initial €10M investment ballooned to €23M, adding 32 rooms and 13 suites. The hotel features a 50-seat restaurant, a rooftop with ocean views, concierge services, and a spa, and will employ 60 people.

🏠 In 2012, the Louvre-Lens museum opened and Esprit de France converted a nearby historical coron into the four-star Hôtel Louvre-Lens by 2018, now featuring 52 rooms, the brasserie Le Galibot, a bar, wellness area, and seminar rooms. Renovations were led by Maes Architectes, Lille, and interior designer Guillaume Da Silva, Roubaix, focusing on the region's Northern theme, highlighting the past, and balancing old and new elements. The property accommodates seminars and banquets for up to 120 guests. Since 2012, the mining basin is a UNESCO World Heritage site, boosting tourism in Lens, leading to the 2024 launch of Esprit de France's "Immersion dans les talents du territoire," which includes local experiences and museum tours.

🏨 L'hôtel W Hangzhou, prévu pour 2031, s'installera à Qianjiang Century City, Hangzhou. Il sera situé à l'intersection de Minhe Road et Liyi Road. Ce futur établissement de Marriott International, développé en collaboration avec Zhong An Commercial Group, sera un emblème du luxe et proposera 270 chambres et suites. Conçu par Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, l'hôtel s'élèvera à 240 mètres, offrant des vues sur la rivière, des restaurants, un bar, une piscine, un centre de fitness et un spa.

🏨 Cycas Hospitality to open its first hotel in Luxembourg by mid-2025, as part of the multi-purpose GRIDX development in Wickrange. The 133-room hotel will include six floors and is a collaboration with Félix GIORGETTI S.à r.l. GRIDX, spanning 42,000 square meters, aims to integrate mobility, art, events, retail, dining, and hospitality, enhancing connectivity in the Benelux region. It's strategically located for access to major cities and supports sustainability with a connection to the new 1100 km Vëloexpresswee.

🍽 Gérard Depardieu and Marc Veyrat are former key figures associated with Fontaine Gaillon, Paris. Now under Fitz Group, with a redesign by Spanish architect Lazaro Rosa-Volan, the establishment aims to attract a broader clientele. Consultant Marie-Victorine Manoa, trained by renowned chefs René Redzepi and Daniel Humm, had planned to open her own restaurant in September in the Xe arrondissement, but the deal fell through. Targeting an end-of-year opening for her venue, she’s working on a menu that includes both classic bistro dishes and unique recipes like Tian de légumes. The staff is gender-balanced and offers continuous service from breakfast to dinner.

🏨 L'hôtel Le Forum à Beausoleil will undergo renovations in winter 2025, transforming into an Alfred Hôtels property. Alfred Hôtels aims to expand from 6 to 10 hotels by the end of 2024, and to 20 by 2026. The acquisition process, facilitated by partners such as Braxton AM and Comptoir Immobilier, was successfully completed. Advisors included Knight Frank, C&C Notaires, Askesis, 186 Legal, Brut, and MKG.
