🏨 Marriott International and Fametro, led by Wellington Lins and Maria do Carmo Seffair, announced the conversion of the Tropical Hotel Manaus into a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, expected to gradually reopen from late 2024. Tribute Portfolio, part of Marriott Bonvoy with over 30 global brands, offers unique, independent hotels with a strong local community connection. The new Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Brazil will feature spacious rooms and suites, a wave pool, gym, spa, sports courts, and event spaces.

🏨 Crowne Plaza's 539-room hotels will undergo full renovation to become ANA Crowne Plaza Kochi, ANA Crowne Plaza Chiryu, and ANA Crowne Plaza Hamamatsu, opening in the first half of 2026. Joining over 20 ANA Crowne Plaza hotels in Japan and more than 400 worldwide, they aim to leverage the brand's high-end reputation. Ryuko Hira of Hotel Management International Co. Ltd partners with IHG, while Abhijay Sandilya oversees the vision as CEO of IHG ANA Hotels Group Japan.

🏠 Located 20 minutes from Paris, Dolce by Wyndham Versailles - Domaine du Montcel**** opened in July 2024. Set in a 14-hectare historic estate, this four-star hotel combines bucolic charm with modern facilities, aiming to become a key conference center. Offering custom event packages, Dolce by Wyndham caters to both professional and private functions, accessible via day or half-day bookings. The site features an 18th-century façade and a luminous hall leading to the gardens.

🏨 Minor Hotels, a global hospitality leader with over 550 properties in 56 countries, has announced plans to launch its Avani Hotels & Resorts brand in Singapore, marking the group's entry into the country. The upscale 13-story hotel is set to open in the first quarter of 2027 at 24 Peck Seah Street, in the lively Tanjong Pagar district, minutes from the Central Business District and Chinatown. The hotel, developed in partnership with Kajima Development and Abu Dhabi-based Alwathba Investment, will offer 200 keys and is located less than 200 meters from Tanjong Pagar MRT station.

🏦 Scheduled to open in 2025, InterContinental Lifou Wadra Bay Resort will be the first major hotel on Lifou Island, New Caledonia, featuring 50 bungalows and villas. Offering luxury experiences and amenities like an outdoor pool, two restaurants, a bar, a spa, and water activities in a lagoon with turtles, fish, and manta rays. The resort is designed with Kanak tribal collaboration, ensuring an authentic cultural connection.

🏖 Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is set to open the Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr on October 1, 2024, in Rabat, Morocco. The luxury hotel, envisioned as an 18th-century royal residence amidst lush gardens by the sea, is located minutes from Rabat-Salé Airport (30 minutes), Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca (90 minutes), and major train stations with high-speed connections to Casablanca (45 minutes) and Tangier (80 minutes). General Manager Gregory Viaud anticipates introducing the transformed family-friendly hotel and its personalized services to both locals and visitors.

🔓 Accor, Australia's largest hotel operator, renews partnerships for over 40 hotels, totaling 5,500 keys across the country. Adrian Williams, Accor Pacific COO, emphasizes the group's solid partnerships and the significant investment as a testament to trust in their brands. Accor manages 19 international brands and over 400 hotels in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and French Polynesia. 🎸 Rock in Rio, the world's largest music festival, celebrates its 40th anniversary from September 13 to September 22, 2024. The event will feature over 750 artists, including Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, and Imagine Dragons. The festival, first held in 1985 with Queen headlining, spans over two weeks in Rio de Janeiro. Organizers expect over 700,000 spectators to enjoy more than 500 hours of live music across seven stages at the seaside location in Jacarepaguá, west of Rio.
