🏨 Project launch before 2021 suspended due to unfavorable conditions; revived with Voltere Consulting's support. Transformation of historical sandstone buildings into a luxury hotel complex with 60 rooms and suites, premium apartments, a brasserie, gourmet restaurant, wellness services, and seminar room. GMH, a key player in European hospitality and manager of Castlewood Hotels (850 rooms, 15 restaurants, mainly in Germany), to run the Fréland establishment. GMH's only French hotel is Château Saint-Michel in Burgundy, with plans for Paris, Courchevel, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, and Fréland. Expected opening in 2027, aiming to set a regional benchmark.

🎭 Casa de las Artes in Madrid, part of the Meliá Collection, offers an immersive cultural experience in the city center. The hotel's design, by architects Álvaro Sans and Adriana Sans from ASAH studio, is inspired by Spanish literary figure Miguel de Cervantes. General Manager Belen Diaz Prada oversees artistic experiences including workshops, exhibitions, and film screenings. Unique facilities include a 1950s Hollywood-style private cinema and a cozy library, complemented by a thermal pool and fitness center.

🏠 N Le Spa, situé au célèbre palace niçois, le Negresco, s'est lancé dans l'univers des établissements 5 étoiles en février. Avec son inauguration, le spa offre des installations telles qu'une piscine, un hammam et des services de thérapeutes experts, répondant ainsi à la demande de luxe et de bien-être des clients. Le Negresco, qui avait résisté à l'installation d'un spa sous la direction de Jeanne Augier décédée en janvier 2019 à l'âge de 96 ans, évolue tout en préservant son style Art déco, reconnu monument historique depuis 1980. Prochainement, le septième étage et la tourelle se transformeront en suites offrant une vue imprenable.

🏨 Israel Canada (DNA) acquired operations, management, and portfolio of Brown Hotels Collection. Brown has 15 hotels in Tel Aviv, 7 elsewhere in Israel, 2 in Greece, 1 in Croatia. Israel Canada Hotels, 68% owned by Israel Canada, non-listed, now has about 3,600 rooms, including Brown's assets. Hachshara retains a 30% stake in Brown. Brown's Israeli hotels are leased; properties abroad are owned.

🏕 Accor, global hospitality leader, expands in Singapore with two new properties set to open by 2027, partnering with Fragrance Group Limited and Global Premium Hotels Limited, owned by Koh Wee Meng. The agreement features Mövenpick Singapore, Asia-Pacific's largest Mövenpick hotel with approximately 808 rooms, the first Mövenpick Living in Singapore with about 37 rooms, and a Handwritten Collection hotel opening near culturally-rich Waterloo Street by the end of 2025.

🏨 Le Méridien Madison à Washington DC, anciennement l'hôtel Legacy, a rouvert après une rénovation de 15 millions de dollars. La rénovation a été conçue par Parker-Torres Design et rend hommage à Jackie Kennedy Onassis, qui avait inauguré l'hôtel en 1963. Les espaces rénovés incluent le hall, les espaces communs et les chambres, avec une décoration inspirée par le style de Jackie Kennedy. L'établissement appartient à Crescent Real Estate et est exploité par HEI Hotels & Resorts.

🍽 The Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, in partnership with the Ottolenghi group, will soon unveil a new gastronomic experience in Switzerland, featuring a lively bar, a veranda, and an open kitchen with a significant grill. Emphasizing Mediterranean shared dishes and a commitment to local sourcing, the restaurant draws inspiration from London's ROVI. Also, the venue will focus on vegetable-centric dishes with fresh, seasonal ingredients and bold Mediterranean flavors, adorned with rich wood touches and red and gold accents.

🏠 Beyond Places, led by founders Guillaume Multier and Aurélie Blanquart, expands with three new hotels: Le Domaine de Biar 4* and l’Horizon Resort Massane 4* in Montpellier, plus Domaine de Rochebois 5* near Sarlat. Le Domaine de Biar features a 45-hectare park, 13 unique rooms named after local figures, a seasonal restaurant, and offers yoga and equicoaching. L’Horizon Resort Massane, established in 1988, reopens after a four-year renovation.

🏨 citizenM opened its third Miami property, citizenM Miami South Beach, on August 14, offering a luxury affordable hotel experience with 168 rooms, king-size XL beds, a rooftop infinity pool, and local art. Following successful launches in Miami Worldcenter (2023) and Miami Brickell (2022), this marks the 36th hotel for the group, part of a US expansion including Boston Back Bay, Austin Downtown, and Menlo Park on Meta campus. Designed by concrete Amsterdam and local architecture firm Gensler.

🏨 Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced a partnership with Destination Gold Coast Consortium for an Andaz hotel in Gold Coast, Australia, set to open mid-2025, marking Andaz's debut in Australia and the Pacific. The consortium consists of The Star Entertainment Group, Far East Consortium, and Chow Tai Fook Enterprises. The Andaz Gold Coast will be part of The Star Gold Coast's A$2 billion master plan. David Udell, Hyatt's Asia-Pacific group president, celebrates expanding their Australian presence, adding to their existing 10 hotels across five brands.
