🏨 Moxy Hotels plans to reach 100 hotels in Europe by end of 2025, celebrating its 10th anniversary. Launched globally in Milan in 2014, it redefined the hotel experience with industrial design and social spaces. 89 hotels currently operate in 18 European destinations, constituting 60% of Moxy's global portfolio. Expansion targets locations reflecting the brand's playful spirit, according to Marriott International's Chief Development Officer Jerome Briet.

🏨 Maison Albar Hotels is set to open 'Le Victoria' in Nice in October 2024, featuring 132 rooms and suites, a 600m² spa, a Glenn Viel signature rooftop restaurant and bar, and reception rooms. Located between the Promenade des Anglais and Place Masséna, the hotel is a tribute to Victoria, the fifth generation of the Albar family, hoteliers for a century, and embodies the family spirit with a décor that reflects the elegance of the 1930s Riviera.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts surpasses 200 hotel openings in Northern Europe, debuting brands in four countries. Germany to welcome Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, mid-range Garner, and Candlewood Suites by early 2025. Hungary opens first Kimpton and Vignette Collection hotels; Sweden and Poland introduce voco hotels. Continued expansion in cities like Krakow, Munich, and Lublin, with 30 new Holiday Inn openings in partnership with NOVUM Hospitality. 🍑 Peachbeach UC, owned by Irish businessman Eamon Waters, proposed a 6-story building with 66 keys and 23 mixed-use apartments on Lower Baggot Street, Dublin. Opposition led by Merrion Hotel's General Manager Peter MacCann, citing damage due to proximity and elevation, resulted in Dublin City Council rejecting the construction permit due to the detrimental height to neighboring properties.

Aimed at hedonists and lovers of elegance, Château Pimo promises a memorable, emotion-rich stay.

🏠 In Yaoundé, an agreement was signed between the Cameroonian state and Belgian investor IIDG/Hôtel Group on October 16, 2023, to build a 32-story hotel complex, initially intended to be operated by Marriott. As of September 3, 2024, Africa Intelligence reports that Four Seasons, Kasada (led by Olivier Granet), and Moroccan group Al Mada are showing interest in the project, which has been in the works since 2019.

🏨 Balthazar Hôtel & Spa MGallery 5* introduces Maison Balthazar in Rennes, inaugurated June 2024. Céline Meslin leads the project, showcasing a decade of dedication. Maison Balthazar features 7 suites-apartments, including two interconnected types, ranging from 40 to 95 m² with one or two bedrooms. Xavier Bohuon's interior design highlights Aboriginal Australian art, in collaboration with Le Temps du Rêve gallery, echoing the luxurious yet discreet style of its sibling hotel.

🏠 Stella Cadente has recently opened a boutique hotel in the heart of Marrakech, at the edge of the medina, offering an easily accessible and dreamlike experience. Renowned for her prêt-à-porter brand in Paris, Stella, in partnership with photographer Florian Claudel, formed Stella Cadente Studio, which has already left its mark with a guesthouse in Provins. In Marrakech, the fully renovated riad features 7 rooms over two floors, blending the brand's DNA with traditional Moroccan craftsmanship.

🏨 Brit Hotel expands in Île-de-France with a new 4-star establishment, the Brit Hotel Paris Rosny-sous-Bois, marking its fifth location in the region. Opened in March and set for official inauguration at September's end, the hotel showcases the chain's upscale "Privilège" range, now totaling 28 venues. The newly renovated site features 68 rooms, 2 suites, an indoor pool, managed under Brit Hotel Developpement's mandate. The Xia family, owning another Brit Hotel in Paris Orly, spearheads this development.
