🏨 Michelin awarded the first Clefs MICHELIN in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, recognizing 271 exceptional hotels. The selection includes 17 hotels with three MICHELIN Keys, 85 with two, and 169 with one. Aimed at offering a unique travel experience, the MICHELIN Guide's hotel selection is independently judged by anonymous visits, setting a new international benchmark for distinctive hospitality and high service levels.

🏨 Transaxio Hôtel facilitated the sale of Albert’s Hôtel, a 4-star boutique hotel with 22 rooms, located in Paris's 11th arrondissement. Owned by Groupe HN6 Active, led by Nicolas Saltiel, the property was acquired by New Hotel, managed by Georges Antoun, marking their 9th establishment. The acquisition, a share deal, was supported by Guillaume Jalliffier of Transaxio Hôtel and Synantis. The sale occurred at the beginning of September, highlighting the robust Paris hotel market.

🏨 German hotel group Dorint expands in Switzerland, acquiring Parkhotel Bad Zurzach effective February 1. With properties in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, totaling 60, Dorint secures a lease with Credit Suisse Funds AG, maintaining around 70 employees. Substantial investments planned for the hotel's long-term operation. This marks the sixth Dorint establishment in Switzerland, joining others including Dorint Blüemlisalp Beatenberg/Interlaken and upcoming properties in Interlaken (April 2024) and Locarno/Riazzino (Summer 2024). Parkhotel features 111 rooms, 13 suites, and provides direct access to "Thermes Zurzach.

🏖️ Lindner Hotel Group expanded its presence on Sylt Island, Germany, by acquiring the traditional establishment in Kampen and enlarging its Stadt Hamburg hotel. In May 2024, they acquired Stadt Hamburg in Westerland, offering 15 luxury serviced apartments, a restaurant, a bistrot, and access to a fitness room and QIARA spa. The Strönhof Kampen adds 15 apartments with a private wellness area, including a pool, sauna, steam room, and relaxation room, plus views of Kampen's dunes. This expansion strengthens Lindner's position in German island and seaside vacationing and hotel management.

🏠 Laurent de Gourcuff, backed by Paris Society, continues his momentum by opening a new restaurant at Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild after a year of reopening iconic venues like Laurent, Maxim’s, and L’Abbaye des Vaux-de-Cernay. In partnership with Viparis, they are revitalizing the historic building. Baronne, the restaurant, boasts some of Paris' most impressive volumes and ceiling heights. Corinne Sachot, a rising star in interior decoration, has designed the space to blend historical memory with modernity, end-of-century style with contemporary finesse.

🏨 Soho Boutique Hoteles, directed by Javier Tor Nuevo, plans to open two additional 5-star hotels in Northern Morocco, following an existing hotel in Tétouan. The next locations will be Tangier and Casablanca.

🍾 Austrian oenotourism group Loisium opened its third resort, the first in France, last summer near Épernay in Champagne, with another soon to follow in Alsace. Designed by architects Sanjit Manku and Patrick Jouin, the 4-star resort integrates with its natural surroundings in the Montagne de Reims park, offering views over rolling hills. The design emphasizes a connection with the landscape through simple lines and transparency. The resort features a concrete, glass, metal, and light oak structure with 107 rooms and suites and spaces celebrating champagne, including a central patio, a salon-bar with organic-shaped pastel chairs, a mezzanine library, and the promising young chef Antoine Madelaine’s dining area.

🏖️ Minor Hotels will rebrand Reethi Beach Resort to NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort, scheduled to reopen in Q4 2025 after extensive renovations. Situated in the UNESCO biosphere reserve of Baa Atoll, the 129-key establishment is accessible by a 35-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport. The resort will remain open until April 25, 2025, with a six-month closure for the transformation, marking the most significant upgrade in its 25-year history.

🏠 Park Hyatt London River Thames offers 203 rooms and is located near London attractions such as Battersea Power Station, which welcomed 11 million visitors last year, Battersea Park, Kia Oval, Tate Britain, lastminute.com London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace. The hotel aims to provide a discreet luxury experience with personalized service and a warm atmosphere, representing a contemporary British design. General Manager Rike Erdbrink takes pride in the new flagship’s embodiment of a home-away-from-home in London.

🏠 The Park Hyatt London River Thames, as the first Park Hyatt brand in the UK, officially opened in Nine Elms district, near the Battersea Power Station. Managed by Hyatt Hotels Corporation and R&F UK, it's part of the One Nine Elms mixed-use development project. The hotel boasts 203 rooms with a contemporary English style and art by Charlie Whinney. Amenities include the seasonal Nine Elms Kitchen & Terrace, Nine Elms Bar & Lounge, a spa, and an indoor pool.
