🏖️ The Maradiva resort, member of Leading Hotels of The World, recently reopened featuring a transformative experience. It offers 64 pool villas on a lush estate along a dreamy west coast beach. Guests can enjoy Rolls-Royce or BMW i7 transfers, diving, tennis, golf, yoga, ayurvedic spa treatments, exclusive shopping, and a kids club with a Peter Pan theme. The resort has restaurants with seafood, grills, and Indian or Japanese cuisine led by starred chef Yannick Hochet. The Cellar boasts the largest hotel cigar collection on the island and a fine selection of wines and spirits. Shoba Villas & Residences will launch in late 2024, expanding the accommodation with luxurious, spacious villas and apartments.

🏨 Marriott International partners with New Development Group to open its second EDITION hotel in Shanghai, scheduled for 2026. The luxury hotel, The Shanghai EDITION, Changfeng Park, located in the Putuo district near the Suzhou River and Changfeng Park, aims to redefine luxury with its visionary design and exceptional service.

🏠 Egyptian investor Samih Sawiris, founder of Andermatt Swiss Alps, to realize a hotel complex in Isleten on Lake Lucerne, Switzerland, after 66.42% of Uri canton citizens rejected the Greens' proposal for limited site exploitation. The plan includes a 50-room hotel, 30 hotel apartments, 70 rental apartments, and a marina. Voter turnout was 52.8%.

📍 citizenM's portfolio reaches 38 properties worldwide. The first citizenM hotel in Ireland is set to open in Dublin by summer 2025, with 245 rooms opposite St. Patrick’s park and cathedral. Featuring a preserved brutalist façade by Irish architect Sam Stephenson, it offers amenities like a 24/7 canteen, a cozy terrace, and societyM meeting rooms. The mycitizenM+ membership provides perks such as discounted stays. The citizenM London Olympia, with 146 rooms, will open at the end of summer amidst the £1.3 billion redevelopment of the Olympia in West London.

🌞 Hilton expands with four new resorts in Greece, Portugal, and Croatia, under Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and Curio Collection by Hilton brands, opening by 2026. Greece: Hilton Mykonos Beach Resort & Spa with 75 rooms (34 with private pools) opens in 2026; Sound of the Sea Karpathos offering 43 rooms, some with private pools or mini spas, opens in 2025. Portugal: Casa de Sada Algarve featuring 184 rooms launches late 2025. Croatia: Hotel Preko Ugljan with 65 rooms begins welcoming guests summer 2025. Hilton aims to meet growing demand for relaxing stays with cultural experiences.

🏡 Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Pacific6, announces the opening of Fairmont Breakers Long Beach in downtown Long Beach, 40 km south of Los Angeles. Originally built in 1926, the iconic hotel has been meticulously renovated to blend historic charm with modern luxury, featuring updated rooms and suites, elegant public areas, a luxury spa, a rooftop bar with panoramic views, a sunny pool, and two flagship restaurants including the renowned Sky Room. General Manager Mark Steenge highlights the rejuvenation of this historic landmark as a testament to Long Beach's growth and the brand's commitment to exceptional luxury and service.

🏖️ Minor Hotels, with over 550 properties in 56 countries, is expanding its portfolio in Africa by adding the Anantara Stanley & Livingstone Victoria Falls Hotel on December 1st this year, making it the seventh Anantara property in Africa and the Indian Ocean islands. The intimate, 16-suite hotel, located 15 minutes from Victoria Falls, offers configurable rooms and interconnected suites for families. Following closely, the Anantara Kafue River Tented Camp in Zambia will open in mid-2025.

🍴 St. Regis Hotels & Resorts and Ginori 1735 unveiled a global partnership launching the Café Ginori concept in select properties worldwide, starting with The St. Regis Florence on November 26. The collaboration promises a luxurious culinary experience blending Italian joy and artistic expression. The next opening is slated for early 2025 at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, with more international locations anticipated.

🏡 Architects Chiara Patrassi and Alexandra Bernaudin, from NIDO agency based in Marais, Paris, designed the new four-star MISS FULLER hotel, drawing inspiration from Art Nouveau. Collaborating closely with five artists and Carine Tissot, who initiated the project, they have showcased their international talent and inspiration. Tissot, president of Drawing Hotels Collection and founder of Drawing Society and Drawing Now Art Fair, entrusted the duo with her latest hotel project, continuing a partnership of over a decade.
