🏠 Monaco's Mareterra sea extension, completed after nearly eight years, adds six hectares to the principality. Restaurant Marlow, channeling 19th-century British literature and the eccentric Lady M., opened on Jan. 15 on Place Princesse Gabriella for an intimate crowd, welcoming the public the next day. Managed by Bryan Gaillard, with experience at The London EDITION, Marlow offers British-inspired all-day dining. The concept is part of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer's expansion, already boasting about 30 venues.

🏖 Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the opening of Hyatt Centric Ocean Front Xiamen in Xiamen, China, featuring 196 rooms, including 18 suites with natural materials and local inspiration. Many rooms offer balconies with beach or mountain views, HD TVs, and capsule coffee machines. The hotel is situated near a beach and Zeng Cuo An Food Street.

🏔 Minor Hotels partners with Sichuan Dexinhousheng Enterprise Management for the development of Anantara Xiling Snow Mountain Chengdu Resort, set to open in October 2025. Located in Dayi County, an hour from Chengdu City, the luxury resort features 111 rooms, granting guests access to nature experiences in Western Sichuan's Golden Tourist Route. The resort, surrounded by pristine nature, offers world-class skiing and therapeutic hot springs, with the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base just 20 minutes away. Design firm Cheng Chung Design (CCD) handles the interior designs, with room sizes ranging from 100 to 500 square meters, including access to hot spring water.

🏝 Borealis Hotel Group opens two new hotels in Malaga: Hampton by Hilton Málaga Martiricos and Staybridge Suites Málaga, marking the first Staybridge Suites in Spain and first Hampton by Hilton in Andalusia. Located in the iconic Martiricos Towers, just 2 minutes from La Rosaleda football stadium and 12 km from Malaga airport. Staybridge Suites offers 105 suites with fully-equipped kitchens, while Hampton by Hilton provides 209 modern rooms. Both offer amenities like free breakfast, high-speed Wi-Fi, and are managed by Panoram Hotel Management.

🏨 Bob W, a technology-driven hotel operator with over 4,000 apartments in Europe, signed long-term leases for three new properties in Munich, targeting growth in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The Munich locations embody their philosophy, merging local concept, design thinking, and high-quality standards. The Bob W München Schwabing, formerly H'Apato Schwabing, located at 22 Fallmerayerstraße, won the German Design Award in 2024 and features 71 serviced apartments, a social lounge, and modern coworking space.

🏨 Accor announced the signing of Swissôtel Shanghai Hongqiao in Shanghai Hongqiao Gubei's commercial development zone, next to Caohejing Economic and Technological Development Zone. Targeting business and leisure travelers with 249 rooms and 62 Swissôtel Living apartments, the hotel is set to open in mid-2026. Gary Rosen, CEO of Accor Greater China, highlighted Swissôtel's demand and the brand's commitment to sustainable innovation. Swissôtel is a global leader in premium hospitality, offering urban retreats in culturally rich destinations.

🏠 Florian Hugonet, General Manager of Domaine de Marlioz, announced the opening of "Les Bains des Alpes" in Aix-les-Bains for July 1, 2025. This new well-being concept within the Domaine includes a 900 m² space featuring an Aqualudic space, a Nuxe spa, and a Balneotherapy area. After investing 10.6 million euros in hotel and thermal bath renovations, an additional 2 million euros will be invested in the spa in 2025, aiming to complement the thermal offer with a modern, nature-oriented wellness experience.

🏨 Sir Prague, a new hotel with 76 rooms across five floors, featuring a bar, gym, and premium suite in the tower, will soon open on Náplavní Street. The establishment will offer a library, courtyard, recreation area, and house the first Czech Republic Seven North restaurant, a concept from Vienna. Part of Sircle Collection and established in Amsterdam 12 years ago, Sir Hotels expands internationally, with plans for Prague and London, under General Manager Christine Vespermann. The interior, designed by British Linda Boronkay, showcases Prague's cultural and historical elements.

🏦 Ruby Hotels, under CEO Michael Struck, is set to open its first Hungarian property featuring a 181-room hotel with retail and dining areas, plus a cultural food market, across four floors. The public areas, including a bar and lounge, will be located on the 5th floor of Corvin Palace—a heritage building from 1926 at Blaha Lujza Square. Elena Günther-Jakobs highlights Budapest's growth potential in the luxury hotel market, aligning with Ruby's "Lean Luxury" concept.
