🏛 Shiva Hotels refinances The Bo Tree, a luxury hotel in Marylebone, London, for over £300 million (€360 million). Opened in September 2023, The Bo Tree features 199 rooms and will soon add a rooftop pool, lounge bar, fitness area, and private dining/meeting space. Rishi Sachdev, CEO of Shiva Hotels, cites the hotel's location and "future potential" as key to attracting a broad range of funding partners for the deal.

🏠 RockyPop is set to open a new hybrid lifestyle hotel in Marseille in the summer of 2025, following its establishments in Chamonix, Flaine, and Grenoble. Located in the vibrant Castellane neighborhood, close to the renovated square and the Prado market, RockyPop Marseille will be just two metro stops from the Old Port. The hotel aims to blend various accommodation options with lively communal areas, promoting entertainment and social interaction in a Pop Culture atmosphere. The venue will feature a rooftop with views, a shaded pergola, a large bar with games, multiple dining spaces, and two karaoke rooms.

🏨 In 2024, Texas welcomed new hotels and will continue hospitality expansion through 2026. February 2024 saw the opening of the Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center near Dallas/Fort Worth with 888 rooms, five restaurants, two pools, cabanas, a spa, and an event space, located adjacent to Globe-Life Field and AT&T Stadium. In Waco, April saw the launch of the Hotel Herringbone, a 21-room Art Deco hotel crafted from shipping containers, featuring a 30,000-square-meter space for dining, music, art, and events, including free concerts nearly every night at Herringbone Square.

🏦 Conrad Hamburg is set to open in 2024 as the first Hilton's Conrad Hotels & Resorts property in Germany. The hotel, under a franchise agreement with Munich Hotel Partners, will join the 15 existing or developing Conrad hotels in the EMEA region. Situated in Hamburg's center, the 238-room hotel will feature 25 spacious suites, 32 residential suites, nine meeting rooms, a bar lounge, a restaurant, a luxury spa, a state-of-the-art gym, and a private pool. It will be located in the historic Levantehaus on Europe's bustling Mönckebergstraße.

🏨 Premier Inn opens its first Austrian hotel, Premier Inn Wien City, joining its 60 establishments in Germany. Located near Vienna's central station, the building was acquired in March 2023 and is undergoing renovation, expected to finish by July 2025. It offers 180 modern rooms, including 29 Premier Plus rooms, with an average size of 20 sqm, and a private underground parking for 31 vehicles. CEO Erik Friemuth sees Vienna as a strategic market for expansion.

🏨 L’Artyzen Xi’an is set to open in Q1 2028, offering about 280 rooms in Xi’an’s central business district, close to the Grand Theatre. The hotel is part of the Artyzen Hotels and Resorts, a luxury hotel collection. Executives Rogier Verhoeven and Sunny Li, alongside Yang Zengtian of Xi’an Yang’s Real Estate, aim to create a cultural and innovative tourist destination reflecting Xi’an’s rich heritage and modern appeal.

🛕 IHG and AIMS have partnered to brand and operate the Regent Makkah hotel, located steps away from Al Haram Al Sharif. The hotel is progressing ahead of schedule, featuring 330 meticulously designed rooms and suites with cutting-edge technology and wellness experiences. It includes a top-floor presidential suite with panoramic views of Haram and Al Kaaba. The Regent Makkah will redefine luxury in Mecca, offering world-class comfort, culinary journeys with renowned chefs, and a state-of-the-art spa and wellness center.

🏠 Wynn Al Marjan Island, holding a 40% stake in a joint venture, secures a seven-year term loan with competitive market interest rates, structured for financial flexibility. The deal marks the UAE's largest hotel financing transaction. Coordinated by Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank PJSC and Deutsche Bank AG, the syndicate includes First Abu Dhabi Bank PJSC, Emirates NBD Capital Limited, The National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation DIFC Branch. Project construction is progressing, with 64% of structural concrete completed up to the 34th floor and elevator shafts to the 36th floor, expecting completion in December. The building has risen 140 feet in the last 100 days.

🏠 Anantara Hotels & Resorts opens its first property in India, the Anantara Jewel Bagh Jaipur, located in the heart of Jaipur, known as the Pink City. The hotel features majestic Rajasthani-inspired architecture with 150 rooms and suites. Chef Executive Sunil Jajoria heads the culinary experience, offering local and international flavors at various dining options, including the Sheesh Mahal restaurant, Amrit Mahal, and Rajputana Chowk. Exclusive private four-course dining is also available through Designer Dining by Anantara.

🏦 Signia by Hilton Amman features 272 elegant rooms, a concierge club, various dining experiences, and over 11,000 m² of meeting space, making it ideal for large events. The hotel includes wellness facilities, a spa, and an outdoor pool. Guy Hutchinson, President for the Middle East and Africa at Hilton, notes that this is the brand's first expansion outside the U.S., signaling a significant milestone. Gary Steffen, Hilton's Global Head of Full Service, emphasizes the hotel's unique design and cosmopolitan amenities.
