🏦 The Pierre, a historic New York hotel at 5th Avenue and 61st Street, celebrated its 90th anniversary. A New York landmark since the 1930s and a historic monument since 1981, it was part of Four Seasons before being acquired by Taj in 2005. 🏁 Golden Eagle Luxury Trains to launch its inaugural Paris-Istanbul journey with four departures in 2025. The eight-day trip aboard the Danube Express will traverse seven countries, featuring culinary excellence and fine wines. James Masterson, product development lead and founder's grandson, will oversee the journey, which includes Champagne region private tours, exclusive Vienna concert, Postojna cave exploration in Slovenia, dessert masterclass with Chef Rebekah, and a gala dinner on board.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts partners with Artas Turizm to launch Crowne Plaza Istanbul West, primarily targeting business travelers. Located near Tuyap Exhibition Center and Ambarli Port, amenities include a spa, gym, restaurant, bar, and meeting spaces. This addition brings IHG's Turkish portfolio over 45 hotels open or under development, supplementing the 110 Crowne Plaza properties in Europe. 🏨 Hilton, in partnership with Aluma Greece IKE, will open three new hotels in Athens: Adia Aluma Athens (Curio Collection) and Anise Aluma Athens in 2025, and Skylark Aluma Athens (Tapestry Collection) in 2026, adding over 500 rooms. The Adia Aluma Athens will feature 215 rooms and wellness amenities, Skylark Aluma Athens will have 191 rooms with a pool and meeting facilities, and Anise Aluma Athens in Evripidou district will offer 99 rooms. Hilton has been growing in Athens for over 60 years.

🍴 Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch, a luxury hotel opening in London in 2026, teams up with Michelin-starred chefs Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud, who cumulatively hold seven Michelin stars. Guillaume Marly, the hotel's general manager, touts the collaboration as a future culinary destination in the heart of London. The hotel, part of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, is a 100-room transformation of a historic site by Hilton and Reuben Brothers, honoring its legacy while meeting the highest traveler expectations.

🏨 Radisson Collection announced the opening of seven new locations worldwide by 2025, following the launch of three establishments in 2024. The Radisson Collection Resort in Galle, Sri Lanka, opened in January 2025, marking the brand's debut in Southeast Asia and the Pacific. The resort features 105 keys, direct beachfront access, private villas, panoramic ocean views, and a luxury beach club. It aims to become the region’s top culinary destination with four restaurants and vibrant event programming.

🍽 FAUCHON HOSPITALITY unveils FAUCHON L'Hôtel Diriyah in Riyadh's historic and cultural district, Diriyah. The luxury hotel features 74 sophisticated rooms, 11 opulent suites with private terraces, the emblematic Gourmet Bar, a luxurious spa, and spaces for private events and exceptional meetings. Additional amenities include exclusive dining concepts, lush private gardens, and a rooftop lounge with panoramic views of Diriyah, elevating the luxury hospitality standards.

🏨 Hyatt Centric aims to increase its global portfolio with 35 new hotels by the end of 2028. Key openings in Europe include Hyatt Centric Reims (2025) near Notre-Dame Cathedral with three French restaurants, Hyatt Centric Altstadt Hamburg (2026) in Germany with a rooftop restaurant and bar, and Hyatt Centric Reykjavik (2026) in Iceland featuring a rooftop bar. 🏨 Premier Inn, part of Whitbread, since 2016 in Germany, expands with a new hotel in Potsdam and strengthens its Berlin network. Investment in Germany totals £1.1 billion, with 61 operational hotels and 37 more planned. The Potsdam hotel, marking its first in the city, will feature 208 rooms, a 82-space parking, and service apartments by COSIMO Investment Group. Located at Babelsberger Straße near the central station, it is set to open in 2027.
