🏠 The Palace Madrid, previously The Westin Palace, joins The Luxury Collection Marriott post a two-year ambitious restoration. Located in Madrid's Quartier des Lettres, the UNESCO-listed hotel showcases a meticulous revival executed by Ruiz Larrea Arquitectura, preserving the original 'Palace color' and floral ornaments. The iconic 1912 stained-glass dome by Ferrés i Puig and Maumejean was restored with over 100 artisans' assistance. Helen Leighton, VP at Marriott International, emphasizes the hotel's century-plus cultural significance. The Palace boasts 470 naturally-lit rooms and suites reflecting Madrid's classic elegance and dynamic spirit.

🏨 HR Group, based in Berlin, has acquired H-Hotels, one of Germany's largest private hotel operators, adding over 60 hotels in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and Hungary. The deal boosts HR Group's portfolio by roughly one-third and includes brands like Hyperion Hotels, H4 Hotels, H2 Hotels, H+ Hotels, H.ostels, and H.omes. The acquisition, aligning with HR Group's strategy for European market expansion, follows the purchase of 10 H World International hotels in Germany. H-Hotels will maintain its brand while leveraging HR Group's resources for future growth strategies.

🏠 Mercure Ax-les-Thermes, a historic XIX century château in Ax-les-Thermes, will open in May 2025 as a renovated hotel by Cité Hôtels. Set in a 2-hectare park, it features two complementary entities: Château de Villemur and a new contemporary building. The château includes two 100 m2 apartments, while the restaurant Le Fédou offers 100 seats, split between indoor (60) and terrace dining (40), serving Pyrenean local cuisine.

🏨 Pullman Hotels & Resorts, established in 1897, unveils the Pullman Hai Phong Grand Hotel as its new flagship in northern Vietnam, blending business, leisure, and culture. Located in Hai Phong's commercial and cultural heart, the hotel features 364 rooms and suites with Pullman Signature beds and customized pillow menus. It offers diverse dining options including Up & Above Rooftop Bar, Mad Cow Wine & Grill, Red Flowers Pavilion, Food Connexion, and Junction for socializing. The hotel introduces a Meet/Play concept for events and boasts a pillarless Grand Ballroom, one of the largest in the region.

🏨 Accor and MUZE Hotels Managed by BrownHouse Management to open Mercure Hotel Pforzheim in Germany by the end of summer 2025, following a complete renovation of the former Residenz Pforzheim. The hotel will feature 198 rooms, F&B space, event and meeting facilities, and will be operated by MUZE Hotels Managed by BrownHouse Management GmbH. Mercure Hotel Pforzheim will also offer modern rooms, a breakfast area, lobby bar, Italian restaurant "Allegro," and three meeting rooms for up to 100 people, located near the Pforzheim convention center and A8 highway.

🏨 IHG launched Garner Hotels, a mid-scale conversion brand, in the UK. The first property, Garner Hotel Preston Samlesbury with 80 keys, represents the brand's ethos of offering contemporary, accessible hospitality without compromising comfort. Managed by KRO Hospitality, this addition in Northern England is part of Garner's rapid expansion since its 2023 global launch. Partnering with NOVUM Hospitality, IHG plans over 50 Garner Hotels in Germany. As of now, Garner boasts over 117 hotels open or under development, focusing on authentic human connections and practical amenities like free Wi-Fi and quality coffee.

🏠 Maybourne Group announces "Maybourne Residences" in Paris's prestigious 7th arrondissement, featuring two luxury addresses: Maybourne Residences Saint Dominique and Rue de l’Université. The project offers 23 exclusive ownership opportunities in the cultural heart of Paris’s Left Bank. Pierre-Yves Rochon and Laura Gonzalez, renowned French interior architects, will design the seven residences on Saint-Dominique and the sixteen on Rue de l’Université, respectively. Residents and guests will enjoy privileged access to six culinary and relaxation spaces within the adjacent The Maybourne Saint-Germain hotel.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts will open ANA Holiday Inn Iwate Kitakami in the third quarter of 2025 through an agreement with Odate Royal Hotel Inc., part of FET SYSTEM INC. The current Hotel City Plaza Kitakami will undergo major renovations, including the modernization of 114 rooms and the addition of Holiday Inn's Open Lobby concept. This marks IHG's second collaboration with FET SYSTEM INC. after ANA Crowne Plaza Kumamoto New Sky. The hotel will provide access to Tohoku and local attractions like Tenshochi Park. It will be IHG's sixth and the third Holiday Inn in Tohoku, showing IHG's growing presence in Japan.

🏨 Garner Hotel Preston Samlesbury in the UK, operated by KRO Hospitality, marks Garner hotels' expansion in Europe since its 2023 launch. Part of IHG, with 117+ properties open or planned in Europe, Garner hotels entered a deal with NOVUM Hospitality to open over 50 establishments in Germany. Garner also made initial signings in Turkey and Italy. The Preston Samlesbury hotel features 80 rooms with "Made with Character" design, a British local-produce restaurant called Village Brasserie, a Lounge Bar, meeting spaces, and a gym.
