🏠 Radisson Hotel Group partners with Manchester City Football Club to launch The Medlock, a 401-room hotel, slated for opening by late 2026 as part of the Etihad campus's £300 million expansion. Located near Etihad Stadium and Co-op Live, UK's largest indoor arena, The Medlock aims to cater to sports fans, concert-goers, and business travelers with amenities including deluxe rooms, suites, a luxury penthouse, food and beverage outlets, a rooftop walkway, a museum, and commercial offices.

🏦 Hilton's LXR Hotels & Resorts is launching its first location in Paris, the Sax Paris, managed by Compagnie de Phalsbourg. The luxury hotel, set in a former Belle Époque central telephone office, boasts 118 rooms and suites with views of the Eiffel Tower. The Sax Paris will offer a library bar, Japanese restaurant, and panoramic rooftop. Hilton aims for 10 new French openings by 2025, expanding their 30 hotels in France and 275 developments in Europe, competing with Accor amidst rising Paris hotel demand due to the 2024 Olympics.

🏖 Centara Hotels & Resorts, a leading Thai hotel operator, extends its family travel expertise to the Maldives with the Mirage brand, known for success in Thailand, Vietnam, and Dubai. The Mirage resort is part of Atollia by Centara Hotels & Resorts, a multi-island destination, and will be joined by Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives, opening early next year. The recently inaugurated Centara Mirage Lagoon Maldives features the longest artificial river in the Maldives and a large water park. The survey by Survation reveals that while the Maldives are popular for "once in a lifetime" trips (50%), overwater or beach villas (38%), and local culture (35%), it's often seen as expensive and not family-friendly.

🏠 The Ritz-Carlton Rabat, Dar Es Salam, has elevated Morocco's luxury hospitality landscape with the opening of the Ritz-Carlton Spa, a 2,600-square-meter wellness destination that blends legendary Ritz-Carlton service with Moroccan traditions. The spa's architecture, inspired by the opulence of the 1930s and oriental heritage, centers around a patio with Art Deco glasswork. It offers a transformative experience that fuses ancient Moroccan beauty rituals with cutting-edge care.

🏖 SLS Hotels & Residences to launch SLS Barcelona, their first European property, in April 2025 at Port Fòrum. Boasting coastal-inspired design, the hotel will feature six dining and nightlife venues including an all-day restaurant, Lora, with wood and charcoal cuisine; a casual tapas bar, Bar L'Anxova Divina; a large waterfront rooftop bar and club, Cosmico; a cocktail bar, Post-Modern Cocktail Bar; Deluxe lobby bar; and Coral, an exclusive pool bar for guests. With 800 m² ballroom, eight private event spaces, and dedicated event check-in, SLS Barcelona caters to diverse events. It will offer three pools, a state-of-the-art wellness center, and a luxury spa opening later in the season.

🏡 Designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel and François Fontes, Courtyard by Marriott Montpellier features 123 keys, 1 restaurant, 278m² of banquet/seminar space, located on the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville in Port Marianne, close to Montpellier's main attractions. 🍴 Accor acquired the iconic French gastronomy house Dalloyau in October 2024. Éric Mitton, with a decade of leadership at Saint Clair le Traiteur, is now the General Director, tasked with building and structuring Dalloyau's event business strategy. His expertise aims to enhance Dalloyau's presence in the luxury and gastronomy sector.

🏠 Kinugawa, after its iconic Parisian locations at Vendôme and Matignon, is set to open a new branch on the Rive Gauche in the Vilème arrondissement. Kinugawa Rive Gauche, atop the Hotel Sax, opening April 2025, blends Parisian elegance with Japanese aesthetics. The restaurant offers views of the Eiffel Tower and a rooftop dining experience with Franco-Japanese cuisine, featuring dishes like sashimi, taruto with salmon and white truffle, and Black Cod marinated in miso.

🏖️ Ennismore to open Mondrian Maldives in 2026 on Kuredhivaru Island, Noonu atoll. Previously Mövenpick's, the resort, as Kuredhivaru Resort & Spa, will integrate with Accor’s loyalty program ALL. The 105-villa complex features 30 beach pool villas, 72 overwater pool villas, and three-bedroom beach pool residences. Amenities include a luxury spa, sports facilities, diving center, multiple pools, a kids club, and 4 dining venues, reflecting Maldivian heritage.

🏡 Le Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Madrid, joined The Luxury Collection after a 2-year meticulous restoration, preserving its 1912 grandeur. Featuring an 8,000-square-meter facade restored by Ruiz Larrea Arquitectura and a stained-glass dome with 1,875 panels restored to original colors. The hotel has 470 rooms and suites, with La Cúpula restaurant at its heart. Marriott International's Helen Leighton emphasized the hotel's significance in Madrid's cultural landscape.
