🏠 Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile, a five-star hotel with French-inspired design and Egyptian cultural elements, strengthens Sofitel's hospitality presence in Egypt. It joins Sofitel Legend Pyramids Giza as the brand's second establishment in the country. Located in the heart of Cairo by the Nile, the hotel has 615 rooms on 24 floors, including 52 suites with personalized services, each with a private balcony featuring Nile views. Amenities include spa-inspired bathrooms with rain showers and aromatherapy products.

🏨 MAGORA (formerly Odalys) partners with Hilton to manage DoubleTree by Hilton Marseille Euromed, opening in February 2028 at 2 Quai d’Arenc in Euromed district, Marseille. The hotel will be part of the M99 tower by Constructa, featuring 99 meters of height with panoramic views. It will offer 130 premium rooms with private terraces for business and leisure travelers. This marks MAGORA's strategic diversification in the hospitality industry.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts announced the addition of Bristol Berlin to the Vignette Collection, owned by Aroundtown with over 150 hotels in Europe. Bristol Berlin will join the luxury and lifestyle brand, which launched in 2021 and aims to attract 100 hotels by 2030—already halfway there in three years. Located on Kurfürstendamm since 1952, Bristol Berlin offers 303 rooms, dining facilities, a spa with a pool, and 1,500 m² of event space. Kamaldeep Manaktala of Aroundtown emphasized the partnership's role in maximizing the hotel's potential.

🏨 Centara Hotels & Resorts plans to open nine new properties in 2025, including first locations in Indonesia and Nepal. The brand will renovate iconic Centara Grand complexes in Hua Hin and Krabi, and launch a loyalty-focused app for customer satisfaction improvement. In 2024, Centara saw a 12% revenue increase to 11.16 billion THB ($333.1 million), and a 43% net profit rise to 1.1 billion THB. The Atollia by Centara in the Maldives opened in November 2024, with Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives following in April 2025.

🏗️ In Lagos, Algarve, two Hilton hotels will be built with a 107.8 million euros investment. The Lagos Marina Hotel Curio Collection by Hilton, a 5-star establishment, will feature 180 rooms, a restaurant, two bars, a terrace, and several pools. The Hilton Garden Inn Lagos, a 4-star hotel, will offer 90 rooms, including 27 suites, a bar, a restaurant, a gym, and an outdoor pool. These developments aim to enhance the tourist appeal of Lagos.

🏎 The Nièvre Departmental Council and Courbet Héritage signed a 70-year emphyteutic lease to transform the hospitality around the Nevers-Magny-Cours circuit into a premier motorsport and business tourism destination. President of the Council, Fabien Bazin, and Jean-François Ott, President of Courbet Héritage, agreed to develop over 3 hectares into hotels, with a three-phase plan including a motorsport entertainment hub. Phase 1 involves renovating an old agricultural school into a 100-room 3-star hotel by 2030. Phase 2 will convert former AFPA premises into a 50-100 room 5-star hotel, and Phase 3 focuses on creating a motorsport entertainment area.

🏨 MAGORA expands its hotel operations by signing a franchise contract with Hilton, marking a significant development. The DoubleTree by Hilton Marseille Euromed will be located at 2 Quai d’Arenc, within the 99-meter-tall Tour M99, and will feature 130 premium rooms with terraces and panoramic views, a top-floor restaurant-bar, exclusive fitness area, and welcoming ground floor spaces for relaxation and work, enhancing Marseille's Euroméditerranée district.

🏨 Whitbread has struck a strategic deal with Lambeth Council to convert Phoenix House, a central London office building in Vauxhall, into a Premier Inn hotel, awaiting planning approval. The ten-story building, previously Lambeth Council's office until 2019, is part of a council efficiency initiative reducing office sites from fourteen to two. This move is aimed at optimizing real estate, creating housing opportunities, and revenue-generating projects. Whitbread has been seeking a Vauxhall location for nearly a decade; the first London Premier Inn was a similar office conversion at County Hall in the late 1990s.

Located on Berlin's Kurfürstendamm boulevard, established in 1952, the hotel will feature 303 rooms, a day-long brasserie, lobby lounge and bar, plus a spa with a pool. Boasting 1,500 square meters of flexible event space, it's set to host business meetings, conferences, and social events.

🏠 EIH, parent company of Oberoi Group, expands in India with two new hotel complexes in Rishikesh. The luxury Oberoi resort named 'Vilas' features 80 rooms, and the 5-star Trident hotel has 120 rooms. Managed by EIH, both are situated on a 24-hectare property surrounded by the Ganges on three sides. The projects by Devprayag Ganges Resorts Pvt Ltd. and Jamuna Hotel Enterprises Pvt Ltd. are designed by architect Bill Bensley. This growth includes 19 projects with 16 hotels, two luxury boats, and a Nile cruiser set for 2029.
