🏨 Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India's premier hotel group, is expanding into the Middle East with Taj Wellington Mews in Al Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah, a partnership with luxury real estate giant BNW Developments. This marks Taj brand's entry into the rapidly developing emirate. Puneet Chhatwal, CEO of IHCL, highlighted Ras Al Khaimah's tourism potential due to its cultural heritage, natural beauty, and growing infrastructure investments. Arch. Abdulla Al Abdouli, CEO of Marjan, noted that BNW Developments is the largest private real estate developer in Ras Al Khaimah, and Taj's arrival will significantly redefine the hotel and real estate landscape.

🏨 Saudi Arabia is investing $110 billion to add 362,000 hotel rooms by 2030 as part of its Vision 2030 strategy to diversify the economy and become a leading tourist destination. This expansion, highlighted ahead of the 2025 Future Hospitality Summit, positions the Kingdom to become a global hospitality industry leader. Saudi's tourism sector contributed a record 444.3 billion riyals to the GDP in 2023, 11.5% of the national economy. 🏨 MAGORA, a leader in managed real estate in Europe, signed a franchise contract with Hilton for the DoubleTree by Hilton Marseille Euromed. This venture will manage a 130-room hotel slated to open in February 2028 within the iconic M99 tower, being constructed by Constructa in Marseille's Euromed district. MAGORA is expanding its hotel market presence, already established in several popular destinations like Courchevel 1800, Arc 1800, l’Alpe d’Huez, La Clusaz, and Saint-Jean-de-Luz. This franchise agreement represents MAGORA's first, showcasing their capability to diversify across managed accommodation types and operate with various business models.

🏖️ ZEL Punta Cana, a collaboration between Meliá Hotels International and tennis icon Rafael Nadal, opened to travelers in December 2024, celebrating its official inauguration on March 7. The resort is located 30 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport, near Bávaro Beach, and features 190 nature-inspired suites including Master Suites and Swim-Up Suites with private gardens leading to the pool. The coastal Pinheirinho estate will feature a 70-key hotel, 58 branded residences, a spa, and wellness facilities. The 400-hectare site, once private property, will include luxury rooms, suites, three garden villas, one presidential villa, and residences reflecting forest, sand dune, and lake environments, employing biophilic design principles.

🏨 BWH Hotels Central Europe expanded its portfolio by adding the Azenberg Hotel Stuttgart to the Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western. Located near Stuttgart's city center, the hotel offers 58 rooms including one suite, wellness facilities with a heated indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, a landscaped garden with a terrace, and a seminar space for up to 20 people. Recently renovated in 2025, it modernized common areas such as reception and breakfast room. BWH now operates seven establishments in the Stuttgart metropolitan area, enhancing its presence and meeting increasing visitor demand.
