🏨 Radisson Hotel Group to open Radisson Hotel Krefeld in 2028, located in Krefelder Höfe district, replacing the old Krefelder Hof. The new hotel will feature 138 rooms, including two accessible rooms and two suites, a restaurant, lobby bar, outdoor terrace, fitness center, a 270 sqm divisible meeting space, and an 81-spot underground garage. The area's revitalization includes 245 residential units and a childcare facility, aiming for a car-free, park-like setting. This expansion is part of Radisson's growing presence in the DACH region, with roughly 200 hotels globally.

🏖️ Opening spring 2025, Gran Marbella Resort & Beach Club by Iconic Luxury Hotels will feature 137 rooms and suites, including the Royal Marbella Suite, Garden Suites, and Terrace Suites, some with private pools or jacuzzis. Located on Playa del Real de Zaragoza, the resort offers panoramic Mediterranean views, four restaurants and bars, local seasonal produce, an Amu Beach Club with pool and beach access, and a wellness center with seven treatment rooms, sauna, hammam, and an indoor pool.

🏖️ IHG Hotels & Resorts to open the 43-room luxury Costa Irminia Retreat & Spa, Vignette Collection in Marina di Ragusa, Sicily in the second half of 2025, marking the brand's second Italian location and first in Sicily. Near UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the hotel features luxurious amenities including a private beach club, two pools, and a restaurant and bar. 🏦 Singaporean tycoon Asok Kumar Hiranandani, founder of Royal Group of Companies, is investing €132 million to launch his first London hotel. The project includes buying and refurbishing the over-century-old former NatWest Bank in Mayfair into a luxury 50-suite boutique hotel, acquired in February for €78 million with an additional €54 million in renovations, aiming for a late 2026 opening. London tourism has surged by 25% in 2023 to 20.3 million visitors, with a 10% projection for 2024. The hotel, designed by Ritchie Design Partners, will offer rooms starting at £1,000 per night.

🏨 Mama Shelter is set to open a new hotel in Toulon in January 2028, located in the historic former bishopric on Cours Lafayette. The hotel aligns with Mama Shelter's bold, playful brand identity and contributes to the city center's transformation. Serge Trigano, founder of Mama Shelter, claims it will be the most charming of the brand's 19 global locations. It will feature around 100 rooms across five floors, a restaurant, and a bar centered around a centenary plane tree under a glass roof.

🏨 Royal Group of Companies has tasked Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) with managing its new 165-room hotel, Casa Mett, set to open in 2027 on the former Ming Arcade site near Orchard Road, Singapore. The curved 13-story building will rise to 100 meters, covering 1128m², with room rates varying from €310 to €345 per night. This marks SHG's second project in Singapore.

🏨 Hôtels Akena opened their 4th establishment in Nantes metro area; the Akena Nantes Orvault, a 2-star hotel, set to upgrade to 3 stars post-renovations. Open since 2013, Akena Reims-Bezannes started room transformations early this year and plans reception space expansion by 2026. The strategically located Orvault hotel offers 46 rooms and will soon renovate common areas and half its rooms, adding a seminar room. A 5-member team serves guests, offering local produce at breakfast and free gym access.

🏖 Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, a new ultra-luxury hotel, opens in Dubai next to the wave-shaped Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the sail-like Burj Al Arab. Designed by renowned architect Shaun Killa, the hotel boasts a futuristic aesthetic inspired by superyachts, blending the region's rich heritage with innovative service and style.
