🏨 Aethos, recognized for community and well-being focus, to open a new lifestyle hotel and private club in East London by summer 2025, marking its first UK establishment. The former Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch, acquired by Limestone AG, will be transformed into the 164-room Aethos London Shoreditch, starting September 2025. A private club, culinary concept, wellness spa, and longevity-focused training studio are part of the revamp. Aethos operates hotels and private clubs in Corsica, Italy, Portugal, with plans for Lisbon, Madrid, and Majorca expansions.

🏨 Minor Hotels, a global hospitality player with over 560 properties in 58 countries, is set to launch NH Hotels & Resorts in Copenhagen on April 10. The new hotel, located in the lively Vesterbro district, occupies a historical building from 1892 and offers 162 modern rooms. Amenities include a refined restaurant, two bars (one rooftop), reception rooms, a gym, a yoga studio, and a glass-enclosed terrace. It's strategically positioned near the central station and Tivoli Gardens, serving both business and leisure travelers. This initiative is in partnership with CapMan, an asset management leader in Scandinavia.

🏠 Meliá Hotels International has expanded its luxury brand, The Meliá Collection, by adding the first five-star property in Formentera, the Five Flowers Hotel & Spa. In partnership with Paya Hotels, this luxurious hotel is situated just 150 meters from Es Pujols beach and near Formentera's tourist center. Guests can choose from 79 hippie-chic styled rooms, including family rooms and suites with jacuzzis. The Grand Suite features a round bed and private jacuzzi. Other amenities include a buffet breakfast with show cooking, a rooftop cocktail bar offering 360° views, and a fitness club with yoga classes.

🏥 Palace Merano, an Italian South Tyrol medical spa, reopens post extensive transformation by French interior designer Michel Jouannet. Upgrades include contemporary reinterpretation of treatment and dining areas, with a focus on balance and harmony. Two new Revital® programs introduced: Sport Performance and Relax & Balance, aimed at enhancing athletic performance and reducing physical and mental tensions. Reopened under the vision of Commendatore Pietro Tosolini (acquired in 2005) and his son, architect Paolo Tosolini, maintaining the Belle Époque building's soul while innovating.

🏡 Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, part of Accor group, expands in Asia with new luxury hotels in Mumbai (April 2025), Udaipur (July 2025), Tokyo, Hanoi, and Bangkok. Fairmont Mumbai will have 446 rooms and suites, five international restaurants, an outdoor pool, and a ballroom for up to 2,000 guests. Fairmont Udaipur Palace, set in the Aravalli hills, features 327 rooms and over 12,000 m² of event space, highlighting marble columns and inlaid floors.

🏨 Bpifrance recently joined the capital of hotel group SomnOO, which focuses on shifting from minority to majority control of managed establishments. SomnOO surpassed 60 hotels in management, with a third owned, through a strategy of partnering with majority stakeholders to improve operations and increase gross margins, leading to profitable partner exits. Partnering with Crédit Mutuel and bpifrance, SomnOO acquired 123 IM's stake in six Ibis hotels, adding 400 rooms to its majority-controlled portfolio, with specific locations including Roanne, Lons-Le-Saunier, Toulouse Purpan, Agen Centre, Agen, and Boulogne-sur-Mer.

🏨 Founded in 2023, Alfred Hôtels expanded in the French market with establishments in Compiègne, Biarritz, and upcoming locations in Monaco, Beaune, Toulouse, and Montreuil. By February 2025, it acquired its first Parisian hotel, l'hôtel de Maubeuge in the 10th district. Co-founder Boris Roques Rogery, with a background in five-star hospitality, aims to enhance three-star hotels with operational excellence, timeless design, and impeccable customer experience. The project was born during the pandemic lockdown, inspired by subpar mid-range hotel experiences and costing around €100.

🏨 Hyatt Hotels Corporation plans to expand its lifestyle hotel portfolio by 30% in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East by 2027, adding approximately 2,700 new rooms. The expansion involves opening 14 new lifestyle hotels, increasing the number of such rooms from over 7,400 to more than 10,000 within three years. Notable openings include The Standard in Brussels, Andaz & The Standard in Lisbon, and Andaz in NEOM, Saudi Arabia, marking Hyatt's foray into lifestyle segments in Belgium, Portugal, and Saudi Arabia.

🏦 Commendatore Pietro Tosolini acquired the Palace Merano in 2005 and began collaborating with French interior designer Michel Jouannet. His son, architect Paolo Tosolini, continues the renovation with fidelity to the initial vision. Michel Jouannet's designs, combining elegance and simplicity, have been a cornerstone of the Palace's identity for nearly two decades. Stefano Plotegher, CEO, and Maximilian Newiger, General Manager, acknowledge Jouannet's integral role in maintaining the Palace's timeless charm.

🌲 Established in 1915, the Aman Nai Lert Bangkok, owned by the renowned Nai Lert family, is a luxury 36-story building in the heart of Bangkok's embassy district. It features 52 suites, 34 branded residences, an exclusive Aman Club, a 1,500 sqm Aman Spa and Wellness Centre, and multiple dining and social spaces.
