Refashion is currently the only state-approved eco-organization for textiles; professional clothing is exempt from REP Textiles but must be recycled under European standards.

🌊 Aranui Cruises, after over 40 years of service in French Polynesia, unveils the Aranoa, set to commence its mixed cargo and passenger voyages through the Pacific South in 2027, targeting the isolated Austral Islands for resupply and exploration. The Aranoa, 116m long and 21m wide, will accommodate 198 passengers in 93 cabins, 62 with balconies. It features two restaurants, two bars, two whirlpool pools, and a crew entirely from Polynesia, offering all-inclusive packages. Certified as Green Marine Europe in 2022, the Aranoa will be equipped with an azimuthal diesel-electric propulsion system to minimize environmental impact. Starting April 2025, Aranui 5 will also serve the Australes, foreshadowing Aranoa's arrival.

🏨 Radisson Hotel Group to open Radisson RED Berlin Potsdamer Platz by end of 2026, its second property in Berlin. Located at the former Siemens headquarters on Schöneberger Straße, the early 20th-century building served as a hotel from 2001 to 2024. The renovation will focus on energy efficiency and ESG criteria, featuring a retractable glass roof. The acquired land on De-Saint-Exupéry-Straße will see construction begin post-permit approval, expected in summer 2025, with a completion timeline of under 18 months.
