🏨 Accor named Ranju Alex as Managing Director for South Asia, covering India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The company, managing over 70 hotels in this region, plans 30 more. Ranju, with 30+ years in hospitality, previously led 170 hotels as Marriott's VP for South Asia. She received the Bharat Gaurav award for industry contributions. Earlier this year, Accor and InterGlobe planned a joint venture, as announced by Gaurav Bhushan.

🏨 Heintz Hôtellerie appoints Fabien Coquet to lead Campanile Metz Sud and Première Classe Metz Sud hotels in Jouy-aux-Arches, near Metz. Coquet, with experience from Louvre Hotels Group, aims to enhance customer experience and environmental responsibility. In September 2024, Campanile Metz Sud became the first in France to introduce a new concept, praised for modern aesthetics and doubled thermal facade resistance, following a successful partnership with Louvre Hotels Group.

📅 Rihab Saad, with over 20 years in luxury hospitality, will become General Manager of Hôtel Barrière Le Normandy Deauville on August 1, 2025. He started his career at Hôtel Martinez, Cannes, and held managerial roles at Evian Royal Palace, leading a team of over 20. In 2011, he managed Le Tousco at Four Seasons Resort Provence, and later moved to Hôtel George V, Paris. In 2015, he joined Barrière, advancing to Director of Restauration at Palace Les Neiges.

🍴 Nicolai Scheugenpflug is the new Corporate F&B Director at Dorint Hotel Group, succeeding Philipp Kramer. He will report to Stefanie Brandes, the group's CEO. His role covers three brands: Dorint Hotels & Resorts, Hommage Luxury Hotels Collection, and Essential by Dorint. With extensive experience from companies like Meatery GmbH and Lido Gastronomie GmbH, Nicolai aims to enhance profitability and operational efficiency through targeted stock control and innovative development strategies. Certified as a "System Catering Specialist" since 2017, Nicolai focuses on sustainable and practical operations.
