🍺 Brasseurs de France reports a challenging year in 2024, with a production decline of 3% and rising costs due to adverse weather and an uncertain economic climate. Nielsen recorded a 3.3% volume decrease and a 0.9% value drop in the big retail sector. Over two years, sales volumes fell by 7.5%. The summer of 2024 was notably poor for beer sales, with drops of 9.1% in June, 9.4% in July, and 9.8% in September, partially offset by a 4% rise in August. The whole territory was affected, with the sharpest decline in Ile-de-France at 5.2%, followed by the South-West at 3.9%.
