United Airlines mise sur le fuselage intégré de JetZero

🚀 United Airlines, through its investment arm United Airlines Ventures, has committed to a substantial order of JetZero's integrated fuselage (BWB) aircraft, with an actual-scale demonstration flight planned for 2027. The potential order includes 100 aircraft, with an option for 100 more. JetZero received $235 million in funding from the U.S. Defense Department in 2023 to support reaching the demonstration milestone. The JetZero Z4 model is expected to cut fuel consumption by 50% per passenger. Delta also partnered with JetZero in March as part of its greenhouse gas emissions reduction goals. United's interest in BWB aligns with its ambition to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. United Airlines Ventures also explores hybrid electric, hydrogen-fueled aircraft, and eVTOL technologies.

Prior to Rimigo, the founders launched GigIndia, which amassed over 1.5 million users and was acquired by PhonePe in 2022.

Data was collected from 36 countries, with the market comprising tour operators (37%), destination promotion agencies (25%), and travel agencies (23%). Content producers, including bloggers and journalists, mostly have 10-15 years of experience (38%). Journalists and influencers are the primary targets for industry professionals, with podcasters being a priority for only 8%. Advertisers find content producers through recommendations (48%), events (48%), and online (44%); some pay a third party (10%). Creators let the market come to them (two-thirds), rely on recommendations (60%), and some use creator platforms (10%). They're mostly reachable by email (85%) and less through social media (30%). In 2025, popular content forms are blog posts (77%), Instagram/TikTok content (73%), newsletters (34%), downloadable content (18%), and physical products (5%). Content creators earn from sponsorships (51%), affiliate marketing (45%), and providing services like writing and photography (48%). Nearly half (49%) consider promoting services in exchange for travel experiences without other compensation. AI use is acknowledged by 62% of creators, while 30.5% of travel professionals avoid it entirely and 39% approve of its limited use.

Electra lève 100 millions d’euros pour développer EL9, son avion à atterrissage ultra-court

L’empreinte carbone du numérique en France toujours plus forte selon l’Arcep

Telecom operators' emissions grew by 4%, despite a 5.8% national decrease and a contrasting 2% increase in their electricity usage. Devices are the largest factor, accounting for 50% of the digital carbon footprint, with 42% from manufacturing and 8% from usage. Despite a decrease in new device consumption in 2023, screen sizes increased, impacting the carbon footprint.
