🎭 In Paris, the Astra Opera hotel, owned by the Cachan family and designed by Philippe Maidenberg, pays tribute to Daniel Auteuil, Marie-Agnès Gillot, the Bouglione family, and Claudie Haigneré in its 73 rooms. The hotel offers a choice of four thematic decors to guests upon reservation, with the Gillot-themed rooms at the 7th floor being particularly popular for their views of Paris. After a two-year renovation, the hotel now features a mixed-use ground floor, a new spa with a 10-meter pool, treatment cabins, sauna, hammam, and a fitness room. Maidenberg is planning to renovate the adjacent Caumartin hotel next.

Insolite : le château-hôtel aux 400 toiles

🏛 Le Château de Fiac, situé dans le Tarn, était une maison de retraite il y a six ans et a été vendu à Gordon Oldham, un ex-avocat d'affaires. Oldham, qui possède 11 hôtels de luxe dans le monde, a transformé le château en un complexe hôtelier 4 étoiles après des travaux importants débutés en 2018. Ouvert depuis juin 2022, il propose 16 chambres, dont 6 suites, un spa, et un restaurant gastronomique. Matthieu Stauff, directeur associé, a précédemment exploité un hôtel 4 étoiles à Garrevaques. Le décor, mélange de styles français, anglais et zen, a été conçu par le décorateur français Alexis Dupont basé à Hong Kong.

The hotel features a 50-seat restaurant, a rooftop with ocean views, concierge services, and a spa, and will employ 60 people.
