L’Umih et Action Logement s’allient pour faciliter l’accès au logement des travailleurs saisonniers

🏠 As of June 4, 2024, seasonal workers can benefit from Visale, a free rental deposit guarantee, promoted by Action Logement in partnership with Umih. The collaboration focuses on promoting Visale, developing affordable housing, and fostering innovation in housing access and relocation of seasonal workers. Action Logement's subsidiaries will provide affordable, short-term housing solutions, including modifiable and relocatable individual homes, to Umih members in tourist areas.

🍽 La Flottille, a renowned restaurant in the park of the Château de Versailles, Yvelines, reopened on June 1 under the guidance of Michelin-starred chef Jean-Baptiste Lavergne-Morazzani. Established in 1895 and located in front of André Le Nôtre's Grand Canal, La Flottille has undergone a renovation by Versailles firm Versions. The menu features local suppliers like M.O.F. baker Frédéric Lalos, La Ferme du Pré, and La Ferme de La Tremblaye, and includes French classics, seasonal dishes, and shared options.

Accor renforce son engagement pour l’accessibilité de ses établissements

📌 In preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympics, Accor is enhancing accessibility for guests with disabilities, with over half of its hotels in host cities engaged in the 'Tourisme & Handicap' label process. By early July, 80 hotels were certified and 300 nearing certification, visible on the Accès Libre platform. Accor is also expanding its Smart Room concept for seamless disability-friendly design and developing digital tools such as internal GPS for visually impaired guests and booking filters for accessible rooms.

Le Guide MICHELIN arrive au Texas

🍴 Texas becomes the eleventh North American destination to join the MICHELIN Guide, with the first MICHELIN Texas selection to be unveiled by the end of the year, highlighting top dining spots in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio. New York, the first North American city featured in the MICHELIN Guide in 2005, has been joined by Washington, Chicago, California, Miami/Orlando/Tampa, Florida, Colorado, Atlanta, Toronto, and Vancouver.
