Au Puy du Fou, chaque repas doit être une expérience

🎭 In 2023, Puy du Fou became France's fourth most-visited theme park with 2.6 million visitors, boasting 26 dining areas. Emphasizing quality, the park sources locally with over 50% of suppliers within the Vendée region and 70% within 100 km. It operates its own 1.6-hectare certified organic vegetable garden, supplemented by a local farm partnership. To accommodate guests, around 2,000 seasonal talents are hired, with 60% returning annually. The park, which employs 600 people including 70 permanent staff, offers immersive historical experiences across 5 hotels and 34 restaurants and bars. The Grand Tour, a new Belle Époque train attraction, will debut in summer 2025, featuring a 4,000 km, six-day journey serviced by around 30 newly recruited talents.

Le Mob Hotel de Cannes : plus qu’un hôtel, des convictions

🏠 Cyril Aouizerate opened a new Mob Hotel in Cannes, in the Carnot district, on July 19. The 4-star establishment offers 43 suites (ranging from 30 to 86 m²) and emphasizes ecological commitment and social innovation. The hotel, which also operates in Saint-Ouen and Lyon Confluence, was designed with minimal environmental impact in mind. Along with his partner Michel Reybier, Aouizerate converted an old residence, preserving existing structures, using natural materials like wood, and promoting artisan-made furniture. The hotel features thermal paint, wood-blade fans instead of air conditioning, 48 photovoltaic panels on the roof, a Biocoop grocery, a Patagonia store, electric charging stations, and a 42-seat organic restaurant. TVs are replaced with literary and engaging activities to stimulate the mind and social ecological awareness.

🏨 Accor group reported a net profit of 253M€ in the first half of 2024, an increase from 248M€ in the first half of 2023. Revenue rose by 11%, reaching 2.677 billion euros. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) were 504M€, a 13% year-over-year increase. Accor opened 146 hotels with 24,000 rooms in the first half of 2024, growing their network by 4.1% over 12 months. As of June 2024, Accor has a portfolio of 5,682 hotels (838,722 rooms) and a pipeline of 1,297 hotels (218,000 rooms).

🏨 Accor's lifestyle brand Tribe expands with the Tribe Clichy flagship in Hauts-de-Seine, opened late June near Paris.
