🏗️ Villa M expands its concept to Marseille, transforming the former Golden Tulip into a multi-functional space combining a prevention and care center, sports and health programs, a wellness area with pool, sauna, hammam, treatment rooms, cryotherapy, a 1,000 m² modular conference center, coworking spaces, a pétanque court, and a gaming room. Interior designers Virginie Friedmann and Delphine Versace, who also designed Villa M Paris, crafted a Mediterranean-inspired design with natural materials, warm colors, and an ambiance that blends tradition and modernity. The establishment includes a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the Borély racecourse.

Deal | easyHotel change de main : Tristan Capital Partners devient l’unique actionnaire et mise sur un développement européen

🏨 Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou's easyHotel sold 100% of its capital to Tristan Capital Partners, an investment firm with over €15 billion in assets. Previously delisted from the London Stock Exchange in 2020 by ICAMAP and Ivanhoé Cambridge, easyHotel expanded its European footprint under their ownership. Tristan Capital aims to accelerate growth through its EPISO 6 fund. Sir Stelios retains the easyHotel.com brand via easyGroup and endorses the transition, while CEO Karim Malak anticipates strong partner demand.

The ambitious project entails a 6071 m² transformation, adding an extension to create 195 modern rooms and a ground-floor bar-restaurant. With a £21 million investment, the project expects to attract over 56,000 visitors annually, create 30 jobs, and generate an estimated £8.1 million yearly economic impact for the city, benefiting local businesses. Whitbread's acquisition director for Scotland, Jill Anderson, cites the growing demand for budget hotels as the driving force behind this development. The location boasts accessible transportation, being close to tram, bus, and train networks, and main attractions. Whitbread already operates 14 Premier Inn establishments.
