Social, Canada | Une grève nationale pour le 8 août ?
🚿 Syndicated employees from five Quebec hotels will join a national strike on August 8, including establishments in Montreal and Sherbrooke. Half of the 30 hotels involved in collective bargaining voted for 120 hours of strikes, which can be triggered at any time. Thousands of hotel workers will strike for 24 hours to demand better working conditions and wages, as per the Confederation of National Trade Unions (CSN). Michel Valiquette of FC-CSN emphasizes the need for hoteliers to address worker needs and financial recognition.
