BARNES Hospitality plans further development in France, Europe, and the Middle East.

Luxe | L’axe Faubourg Saint-Honoré/Saint-Honorié au 1er rang des hauts lieux du luxe mondial

🏦 An study conducted in 15 countries from January 2023 to May 2024 found that the Faubourg Saint-Honoré and Saint-Honoré streets in Paris have a 61% and 73% higher concentration of ultra-luxury and high-income international visitors than 23 other luxury shopping streets. The average spend by these consumers in the first half of 2024 was €3,326. The Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, led by Benjamin Cymerman, will begin a major street renovation in early 2025, co-funded by the City of Paris and the Committee.

Monde | Hyatt Hotels Corporation officialise l’acquisition de Standard International (The Standard et Bunkhouse Hotels)

🏨 The Standard and Bunkhouse brands' portfolio transition to an "asset-light" model includes management, franchise, and license contracts for 22 hotels with approximately 2,000 rooms. Locations include The Standard in London, New York, Bangkok Mahanakhon, and The Manner in SoHo (NYC), the latter debuting last month. Upcoming openings in 2023 feature The Standard in Singapore, Bunkhouse's Hotel Saint Augustine in Houston, and The StandardX in Bangkok Phra Arthit. The acquisition also comprises over 30 future projects, with signed agreements or letters of intent, including residential developments in Miami, Lisbon, Phuket, Hua Hin, Mexico, Tulum, and Austin, Texas. Hyatt's CEO, Mark Hoplamazian, highlighted the developers' enthusiasm for the merger with Hyatt's network and distribution, announced in August. Hyatt will soon introduce a new program.
