🏦 Mirgor and Meliá Hotels International are partnering to develop a $50+ million luxury hotel, Gran Meliá, in Ushuaia to open in 2028. The hotel will feature 200 rooms, two restaurants, a bar, an 800-capacity auditorium, pools, a spa, gym, and exclusive areas like a belvedere and winter garden. It aims to boost tourism with a focus on business and culture, creating approximately 200 jobs and fostering local supplier networks.
