Les publicités vidéo générées par IA vont-elles envahir le tourisme ?

  • Julia Luczak-Rougeaux
  • 9 décembre 2024
📸 TikTok's Symphony Creative Studio, launched November, turns websites into ads using Getty Images. Google's AI integrates with Performance Max campaigns for automatic video creation, while Amazon animates product listings. These AI-driven tools aim to reduce creative barriers for SMEs with limited marketing budgets. Personalized advertising through AI analyzes behavioral data, offering tailored content in real-time. However, the use of generative AI in marketing, especially in the authenticity-centric tourism industry, raises legal and ethical concerns, including potential deceptive practices and copyright issues. The EU's AI Act requires indicating AI-generated content, highlighting transparency as a crucial factor for future advertising in tourism.

  • Julia Luczak-Rougeaux
  • 9 décembre 2024
✈️ In 2024, airline IT spending will drop to approximately $39 billion, a 21% decrease from $50 billion in 2019. IT investments have fallen from 5% of revenues pre-pandemic to 4% today. Southwest Airlines canceled nearly 17,000 flights in December 2022 due to outdated systems, while Delta Air Lines canceled 7,000 flights in 2023, incurring $500 million in losses due to a software update failure. Airports, in contrast, increased IT spending to $10.8 billion in 2023, representing 8% of their revenues. A McKinsey report suggests IT transformation could generate an additional $45 billion in EBITDA for the industry by 2030.
